The AC units are LOUD. They need updating. The lighting also has to improve. The neighborhood seems a bit sketchy as well.

Motel 6 El Cajon, CA - San Diego
No. This property was in such a poor location with a fence around it and a gate. It was off the highway on a cul-de-sac unlike any Motel 6 I've seen. I was so uncomfortable with the location I didn't check in.

The room was clean and the staff is so friendly. There was a bit of construction of rooms throughout the property. Parking was easy. Conveniently located in a strip mall area and right off the freeway, easy to get on and off!

I got a 2 queen bedroom and the lamps by the bed didn’t work. The bathroom door had no proper door handles. So the bathroom didn’t lock and only had a slide door.

Didn’t get a chance to use the amenities but the basketball court is a great touch. I wish that someone would’ve come to refresh my room while I was out. However the staff was quick to respond when I called to ask for extra blankets.

Clean room, the area is sketchy, the parking is perfect for compact parts only. WAY too close together. Only stayed for a few hours and left.

Two bed room was huge. Nice furnishings. Only downside is that the pool facility was at the golf club and not on site. This didn't bother us though.
