The room was clean, lobby was clean but the staff is why I'd go back. I goofed and checked in a day after my booked day. I entered the wrong check in date when I was building my booking. I get there and the front desk made it feel like it wasn't a problem, and had my room still ready and just moved my check in-check out date. They made me feel like I was a 10 year guest and not just passing through. I'm staying there again when I'm in the Del Mar area.

This is an awesome property. The staff is awesome, especially a gentleman by the name Devy, he made our experience all that much better. We will stay here again the next time we are in San Diego.

We stayed 4 nights and enjoyed our time here. Check in was quick, easy and the staff was friendly. We reserved a 2 Bedroom suite, it was very clean and roomy and the 2 bathrooms and full kitchen were very convenient. We would definitely stay again.

Overall a good experience. The room was large and well stocked. I did find some hair in the bathroom but wasn’t a big deal. The restaurant was severely understaffed, that’s the only place to get a Starbucks coffee at the moment with the cafe market being renovated and it took close to 30 mins for two coffees. One person in front of us. The shop is expensive but good if you don’t want to leave the resort. The pools were nice and staff was so friendly! Would recommend to friends and family.

We stayed at Rancho Bernardo Inn for a 4th of July package and overall it didn’t meet expectations. The property looks very upscale online, but in reality it feels more like an older condo-style resort with dated rooms. Our room had a few issues patio lights didn’t work, the shower handle was loose, and there was no microwave with a very small fridge. The rooms could definitely use updating. The main pool is small, though the adults-only pool is much nicer. For the 4th of July stay, there was no real celebration atmosphere no music or entertainment besides kids movie playing. A BBQ was offered, but at $22 per plate it felt overpriced. Overall, it didn’t feel like a premium resort experience for the price. We wouldn’t stay again and would likely choose a beachfront hotel in San Diego instead.
