I wouldn't stay again

Our first time in TX, we inquired about the shuttle service to and from the airport. The airport was 20 minutes away. Unfortunately I didnt realize that the property didnt offer it to those arriving from Love Field. When we called the front desk, we recieved Rosie on the phone. She was not pleasent to talk to. A simple conversation turned confusing as she just kept asking what terminal. Never being at the airport before, asked staff and was even more confused. Rosie did get annoyed with us over the phone and hung up on us. When i did call back she at first ignored my question several times to get her name & also told us she was the only one on staff (noon). We ended up with an uber. She did see us when we arrived and did apologize, probably realizing we would be guests that eventually would make our way to the hotel we booked. She started our quick trip in a negative light. We were given notice about the construction so when we heard noise, we just left for a few hours. And it was only 1 day so that was fine. The beds were hard and thats not our style. The shower is meant for shorter people. Us at 5'9" are way too tall. Maybe the property is in the process of an upgrade as charging areas dont exist, but there were plugs on the side of the bed. The TV is small, about 32" for the room, but it was modified to have Netflix/app access. We did utilize the pool which was nice the first day, but there were ants the second time. The guy who does the maintenance was there to fix that.

Every time we visit the d. F. W, this is our favorite place to stay. We've been coming here for the last couple of years since the pandemic. And we had a awesome awesome. Stay, the staff were great. The fool was great, the all around quietness. I just live it there. And every time we're there that's where we come best place in the world for this and the kids love the pool in a to thank you

Overall good

The first room the smoke detector was beeping and the receptionist was so kind to move me rooms. The second room was comfortable. The bathroom had hair on the floor and on towels and the sink stopper was not working. The lobby smelled so good and was very clean.

DFW ground halt rescue!

With a major ground halt at DFW, this airport was accommodating and accessible. Al at the front desk was unbelievably calm and professional, there was hot coffee, and breakfast was ready early the next morning for everyone trying to get back to the airport! Shuttle from hotel to airport runs on the hour and you must reserve a seat one hour ahead of time. Kudos to this hotel staff!

Hotel was average compared to other La Quinta properties. I did see a roach in my room and the property has decided to neglect the pool area. There was no pool chairs and the pool/jacuzi needs a little TLC to bring it up to standard. There was a skunky smell on the 2nd floor which lasted our entire stay at hotel. Otherwise it is an Ok place to stay.

Bed bugs

The first night < we found bed bugs, my 14 year old son had more than 8 bites and so did my husband, we went to report it, although they changed our room, they never contacted us, we had to go more than 4 times to complain about the inconveniences and it was always the same excuse, the manager or the manager is not there, I have photos and videos of everything that happened in the room and the bed bugs. Terrible experience
