Decent option.

We had a very comfortable stay here. Folks should know that the microwave is not a toaster oven. Also our room had a distinct mildew smell, but other rooms didn’t have that smell. Otherwise it was very comfortable. We did put the bathroom fan on at night to mask the noise from the freeway right outside the window.

Very inconvenient inside. Probably putting 1000 steps due to the single elevator being absolutely diagonal to our room. Staff were very very helpful. Communication problem - they told us we wouldn't get maid service on Saturday, but we did. Only I had left a mess and personal things about since I didn't know anyone was coming, and I didn't have a chance to leave a tip.

Home away from home.

Great basic room for a week-long stay. Comfy, clean, and a nice little apartment. Staff was great and breakfast was excellent. Love the quiet location.

Hyatt House Needs an Upgrade

The state of the property and service provided was 3 star. The breakfast included in the rate was good. Not extensive but did the job. Check in and checkout was easy. The condition of the furniture definitely needed attention. It was pretty run down which was disappointing. It lowered my perception of the Hyatt brand.. So I am giving my stay 3 stars.

Disappointing

Tired, dark, old hotel. Definitely not a good value for what they charge. Very disappointing experience. The freeway noise was terrible and the smells down the hall from people preparing meals in their room was off-putting. Do not recommend this hotel.

Dirty Tub. Dirty pool. Hot tub had 2 chairs in it.

I had to change rooms because the bathtub wasn't clean. There was hair and a bug in it. Also, the pool was closed for maintenance upon arrival. When it reopened hours later, there were 2 chairs in the hot tub and the pool was dirty! It was ridiculous! I've never seen such a filthy pool area!

Every staff member we had the pleasure of speaking to was very courteous and helpful. This hotel is also located near many dining and shopping areas right by the highway, so many things are within commuting distance. The parking situation is a little weird (you also have to pay for this), but having a parking garage and stairwell that's only accessible with a room key made us feel very safe. The breakfast they provided was also very yummy! There are some things about the property that definitely need renovating (there were stains in the hallway carpets, our shower floor was scuffed up and peeling, our restroom door didn't lock, etc.) but these things didn't negatively affect our trip. Overall, we had a very pleasant stay and would definitely come back.

Good stay.

Overall the stay was good. I did have 2 water roaches in my room. One was dead in the shower. I was on the first floor and the door has a big gap on the bottom so maybe they came in from there. The bed was comfortable and the room was very spacious. Breakfast was good for continental style breakfast. Great location.

I booked a room for an event that was in the area aka The Saint Patrick parade. The hotel is roughly 5min walk from the street (Greenville Ave.) the parade was held on, which made it a cheaper option as Uber/Lyft weren’t needed. The free breakfast was nice to get an early meal & again not to spend the extra eating out. The staff were all super polite & helpful during my stay which was a Friday to Sunday. They even had a late check out available to give those extra hours of sleep. Hyatt properties are for sure winning me over for local stays or even if I catch a flight 1st option I tend to look into for rates.
