Hot in Texas.

It was hot and uncomfortable. When we called downstairs no one answered. We had to go down stairs to inquire about our room AC. Apparently, it was broken, so we spent the night sweating. When we came back to our room, it had not been cleaned. When we inquired, we were told it was too late to clean. We explained that our son spilled crackers on the carpet. At some point they just left us the vacuum cleaner in our rooms to clean it ourselves. Yes, I have a bad taste about this experience. I have stayed in Embassy Suites all over the country and this has been the absolute worst experience.

This was my first time here, I was here on Business trip. I was never informed about the air conditioning not working! The room was extremely hot! The fan was only thing working and it was useless it was making it hard to even breathe, the smell coming out was like compressor fumes! They never even offered to give me a window fan nor apologize for the inconvenience. I asked to change my room but was told I couldn’t! I will not come back again. Worst experience I have ever had!

Disgusting and Disappointing

This was HORRIBLE! First, when the lobby was as hot as a sauna, due to the air conditioner being down. Then, when I asked where to park, I was told in the back or in the garage. I asked if there was a door to the back parking lot, and the man working the front desk said, yes, but it doesn't really work." I parked in the garage. When I got to my room, the thermostat was set on 60, but the room was at least 80. The front desk man said there was nothing he could do. As for the "manager's reception," the bartender was extremely rude and kicked people from sitting at the bar if they weren't "paying customers." When I pulled my bed sheets back to get in bed, there were crusty stains on the sheets. Again, front desk did nothing. Finally, the fire alarms went off 6 times throughout the night between 11:40pm and 3:35am. When all were gathered in the lobby, the night manager said it was false and caused by a faulty sensor. No emergency vehicles showed up and nothing was done to stop it. One lady said this was the 3rd night in a row this had happened. I have never been so disappointed nor disgusted by a hotel in my life. Embassy Suites needs to be better or shut this place down!

A car in the underground parking garage had its entire widow smashed out. Theres a token security truck sitting outside the front entrance but there was no sign of a security officer on the premises during my entire time there. And the fire alarm went off about 8 times while I was there but there was no fire. Property has gotten old and it needs to be upgraded. Breafast buffet was delicious but that was about it. Rooms AC system is outdated, feels more like a swamp cooler than a new central AC system. Thanks!

A/C in the room was subpar. Put thermostat to 60 at 9:30pm and came back at 5am the room was still at 82 degrees. The entire hotel was very hot and humid in the lobby. As well as the elevators. Was woken up at 6am to fire alarms going off not once but twice in an hour and a half. Alarms were going off for 20 mins each time in the rooms and entire hotel. Got not sleep.

The lobby and central areas of the hotel were extremely hot, there were no available hand or face towels, the telephone in the room was broken so we couldn’t call the lobby, the pullout bed on the couch was extremely dirty. There were mosquitos in the lobby and we even heard the desk clerks complaining about them. Also, while visiting other family members rooms someone (unknown person) attempted to come in the room and scared our daughter. This was at night and not during housekeeping hours. There was an incident with the pipes or fire alarm and the alarm went off twice. Once in the evening around 8pm for about 30 seconds and then again at 6:30am for 1 hour. With the phone being broken we couldn’t confirm the emergency and then were informed there was no emergency and no need to evacuate, however we were informed later that there was a legitimate emergency and we should have evacuated. In one of the towels we did receive there was a broken earring stuck to it and scratched my fiancée when he used it. The rooms had little or no air conditioning and with the heat in tx warming the hotel this was uncomfortable and the hotel was providing fans (as needed and if available) to the rooms that requested it. But you needed to go to the lobby to speak to someone.

Bitter sweet

The place was very nice, staff was nice. But room was hot and even though there was a thermostat in the room and we moved it, the temperature stayed the same. Must be controlled by the hotel. We were awaken at 6am by the fire alarm and staff was not very helpful in this situation. All guest exiting rooms and no one told us it was a false alarm and to go back to sleep. Our next room neighbor got their car broken into, window busted, so not very safe either.

Unfortunately, my experience at this hotel has been disappointing. We’re staying in Room 526 and the air conditioning doesn’t work. We reported it, and while maintenance did come by, they didn’t fix the issue or offer any helpful solution. We were not moved to another room, and the staff didn’t seem concerned about our comfort. We had to spend extra money out of pocket to buy a fan from Walmart just to get some air circulating. On top of that, the overall service has been slow and unresponsive. I expected much better and would not recommend staying here based on this experience. To make matters worse, the room has roaches. I’ve never seen one in my life until I stayed in this infested facility. It was honestly disgusting. For the price we paid, I expected at least a clean and comfortable environment. I would absolutely not recommend this hotel to anyone.

It was terrible considering the amount I paid and the level of service and quality I have come to expect from Hilton hotels. The air conditioning did not work at all. The rooms were hot and the lobby was hotter. The pool was very murky, so couldn’t enjoy a swim. And to top it off the guy at the counter, I think his name was Raul, was very rude and unapologetic. He had no empathy whatsoever and basically acted annoyed that I was even trying to talk to him. Save your money and time. Go to the next hotel !!

Air conditioner is rooms and all over the hotel were not working, and it was 90+ degrees in Dallas. They offered us a box fan. It was miserable. The fire alarm went off both mornings at 6am and the last night it also went off at 2:45. A few cars that were in the parking garage were also broken into Saturday night. Not a pleasant stay. The hotel needs an overhaul. I will say that the bartender was wonderful and very personable!

Our two night stay at Embassy Suites was a disaster. Night one: waited two hours for room to get cool & finally told the AC was out on that floor. Moved to a different floor & was a little cooler. Night 2: room was unbearably hot. AC out in whole hotel. Given a box fan for a large suite. The second morning, the fire alarm started shrieking at 6am for over 2 hours. At breakfast , there was mold on the muffins and two of the plates were dirty. There was only one person at the desk the first night and most of the night, there were no less than 8 people in line to get checked in. Check in wait time was approximately 30 minutes. This place is not good and not worth the money they charge.
