I was really taken back by the size of the room (extremely small) but it was clean. The bed however was sunken in in the middle. The toilet roll holder was not fixed and fell off. I had to re-attached it. I locked the bathroom door when I had a shower and really panicked when I couldn't unlock it which wasn't pleasant. The walls are paper thin and I could hear everything eg others walking or using the bathroom. For the cost I thought it was very expensive.

Booked this for my mum and dad and they said how the hotel was very convenient to the local attractions however the rooms where not cleaned well at all, the dust on the bedside table, dressing table and tv was obvious to the eye. Not meeting their expectations.

If a speakeasy could be a hotel, this is it! I’d tell you details from my 3-night stay, but you have to navigate it for yourself. Such a cool place, a great bar, helpful staff and a great location!!!

We had a fabulous stay at Rambler’s Rest. The property, amenities and friendliness of the owners was first class from check in until leaving. We had nothing to complain about. There was a fantastic outdoor mini bar area where you could sit and unwind after a long day exploring the sites and local area. We had our dog Cooper with us and it was a perfect set up for him also. With or without dogs I would highly recommend. Also in a very quiet location especially when sleeping. Top notch!
