We love everything about this aloft location. Great staff, wonderful location and amenities. Good bar too if you’re looking for a cocktail. Digs are welcome and given treats!

We recently stayed at Camp Fimfo in Waco for 2 nights. Unfortunately, our stay didn’t start off great. They couldn’t find our reservation at check-in, and even though check-in was at 4 PM, our cabin wasn’t ready until 8 PM, which was frustrating after a long day of travel. That said, the staff really did work to make things right. They offered perks to make up for the inconvenience, which we genuinely appreciated and helped turn the experience around. Once we got settled, the cabin itself was nice, and our family really enjoyed the amenities. The pool and park areas were especially fun, and the staff at the restaurant were very friendly and welcoming. Overall, despite the rough start, we had a good time and would consider going back. We’re hoping the delayed check-in was just a one-time issue.
