Melia was wonderful! All the employees were amazing so kind and friendly. They keep the property in tip top shape and their hard work shows with such a clean environment. The food and beverage director and his fabulous staff are amazing. Always can find something to eat to suit your tastes. And food is available almost all day. The room was nice, great air conditioning and very clean. The beach is just breathtaking and pool was very nice. I can’t believe there are any negative reviews of this property! I would recommend it to anyone and already have. Just a magical place. Staff truly deserve all the credit for being so hardworking and friendly! Thank you for a beautiful vacation!!! Also have to give a shoutout to the wonderful bartenders, especially liked the man that worked the bar in the main lobby. Stayed from 5/16-5/22. Room #319

Melia is the cleanest property in the area. They spend lots of time making it that way. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Food and beverages were excellent. The best part is the BEACH!!! The water was nice and they clean up the seaweed daily.

Melia is a beautiful resort. It was my first time at an all inclusive. Unfortunately, after the 2nd day there I realized that I had some bites on my foot. For this reason I avoided the beach on day 3, thinking it may be sand mites. After sleeping in the bed again I realized that these were bed bug bites. I do bot want to speak negative of this resort, because i enjoyed my time. But the cleanliness should be better.

The staff was so friendly, always a smile. We stayed in a level room and the bed was so comfortable. Concierge Santiago checked in with us everyday. Jorge at buffet was fantastic and a big shout out to Willian and Santiago at the pool bar.

It was an absolutely amazing trip. We got one of the level suites, and it was such a great decision. The staff is very helpful and everything runs well. Edilberto Aguilar, one of the gentleman that works the buffet in the mornings and the tacos staff made us feel so welcome! They were truely amazing! The only thing i wasnt to fond of was the reservations guy. He wasnt the easiest to talk to and wasnt the nicest but it did not take away from how much fun we had. Also the medical staff is amazing, a lady had an accident on the stairs, they got there so fast and they were just amazing!!

We enjoyed our stay at Melia! It’s not your typical huge resort. We were looking for something comfortable yet quiet and safe, and that’s what we received! The pool bartender Santiago was amazing, and so was Martin and the front desk. Everyone was so kind and hospitable. They have snorkeling equipment, kayaking, etc. The Fish House was really good and the buffet was decent. They didn’t had a decent amount of variety at the buffet, but what they did have was really good. I would definitely go back again.

Loved Cozumel as slower pace than Cancun, Playa del Carmen and Cabo. Loved the service at the resort…all the staff went the extra mile to make customers happy. Liked the resort and although the food was good, there were not a lot of choices. You had to “level” up for services by the pool or at the beach but that wasn’t a problem. The pizza was gross and the hamburgers were not 100% beef. I’m ok if it’s a non-meat burger but then advertise that and not refer to it as hamburger. Have been to other resorts where fresh homemade pizzas were made, not what tasted like frozen pizza. Mole, Fish house and the taco place had great food but could only eat there 3x in one full week. Was able to get in a few other nights when buffet was not appealing. Wish there were more choices at buffet too as some of the food (breakfast or lunch) were literally leftovers from night prior and not many new choices. This resort had the best reviews for food so I think stepping up just a bit would make the difference. My only other complaint were the sheets…they were scratchy not soft. Had a very good time despite lack of food choices.

Melia is a great place to stay. The restaurants, bars, pools, beach, rooms, etc. are all nice. Work out room is adequate as well. We did participate in many of the activities. Volleyball and aerobics were fun. April does a great job running her tasks. I feel like the other staff in leadership roles do not know English as well as she does. But that is my fault, as I know zero Spanish - lol. The entertainment was adequate, most of the day staff work hard to put shows on at night. The magic show was very cool, especially the shadow puppet master. The ocean in front of the resort was the only downer. The water was brown for 3 or 4 days and we snorkeled and swam at the neighboring resort. The water did clear up at the end of our trip. The snorkeling is amazing just south of the resort. The bartenders and waiters were all fantastic. My wife and I did participate in the level option. The feature is really not necessary, as the other two rooms that my family stayed in were not part of the level and we did everything together with no issues. I would go back. This is the first time staying at the Melia, but we have been to Cozumel many times. We love the beaches, San Miguel, etc. We have never had a problem staying on this island and will continue coming.

Our family of 5 loved our time at Melia! It’s a beautiful resort right on the beach. The entire staff was incredible and definitely elevated the experience. Plenty of space/access at the beach, pools, restaurants, and other amenities.

All of the staff was great. Food was great! We put money and valuables along with a piece of new jewelry in the safe, The next day the jewelry was stolen
