I had an extremely disappointing experience at YEHS Hotel Sydney CBD. The housekeeping standards were unacceptable, and the management's response made things even worse. The bed sheets were not changed as expected, dirty towels were left uncollected for 2–3 days, and the toilet was not properly cleaned, with faeces still present. Despite raising our concerns, the problems continued the following day. The bed sheets were still improperly tucked in, the bathmat had hair and appeared not to have been changed, and a used soap wrapper was left on the bathroom floor. We had to spend hours communicating with staff and documenting these issues, even though basic cleanliness should be a standard service. Sabin was aware of the situation and had personally witnessed the issues. The management also failed to respond within the promised timeframe, forcing us to follow up again. Eventually, the Duty Manager acknowledged the housekeeping failures and apologised, but refused to offer any compensation whatsoever. The hotel's argument that the issues were eventually addressed does not excuse repeated hygiene failures, the inconvenience caused, or the time we spent chasing a resolution. Guests should not have to repeatedly complain just to receive basic housekeeping services. Overall, this experience reflected poor housekeeping, inadequate complaint handling, and a lack of accountability from management. I would not recommend this hotel and would not stay here again.

Got it! Updated all 3 versions with the new details and company name 😊 ✅ Version 1 — Clear & Honest Disappointing & Unsanitary — Avoid MadeComfy! My wife and I stayed here for 4 days through MadeComfy and it was a very disappointing experience. Thick dust on the lamps that looked like it hadn't been cleaned in years — probably 10 years worth! We were given only 2 towels for two people, no hand towels, and no drinking water. Essentials were extremely scarce — just 2 rolls of toilet paper, 4 sachets of sugar, and 2 tea bags for our entire stay. The fridge was in poor condition and the bed sheets were visibly dirty. There were 5 soap dispensers in the bathroom — all either empty or nearly empty. When we tried to use the iron, it tripped the electricity immediately so we couldn't iron anything. Worst of all, we had no running water for an entire day — we couldn't shower before bed and had to wait until the next day. I've already reported all these issues to Expedia and received a partial refund. Save your money — MadeComfy should be ashamed to offer a place like this.

We had an apartment room with balcony, the room was very clean and although a busy part of the city, it was still quite. Staff were great and always helpful. Breakfast was first class. Loved the location, easy transport options and close to everything we love about Sydney. Thanks
