Friendly Staff. Clean rooms. Great location.

We were greeted with a handshake which is always a good start. Our hosts, Neil and Rosemarie were welcoming and eager to make sure our stay was a good one. Our room was spacious as was the bathroom and shower. We were pleased with the coffee machine and the fridge on the landing for the cold milk. The small touches are what makes this hotel a special one. The bar downstairs proved popular to watch the world cup and we appreciated the hospitality during the evening. Breakfast was cooked to order and taken on the deck. The swimming pool was excellent. Car parking is easy and plentiful. One small point is that we would have appreciated a fan in our room which was very hot. Given the extremely high temperatures we are all experiencing it might be something to consider for the future. Otherwise everything was absolutely fine and of a very high standard.

Our stay was okay, but I’d say expensive for what it was. It has a relatively dated interior, with no air con (biggest issue) - as even in 22-25 degrees, the room was like a sauna. Also, you pay £20 per night for a dog, and don’t even get a food bowl or dog bed. All that was provided for our dog was a water bowl. Not sure what we’re paying £20 per night for.

We had a very enjoyable three days stay. We had a 'Signature Double' room which was large with a King bed and a very large bathroom with a sea view. The breakfast was very good. The food in the restaurant was exceptional and the staff the same. They have a large car park. The hotel is just a short walk to the sea front.

The hotel was in a great location but it was a bit dated - in terms of the decor and the bar/dining room. We didn’t have breakfast as it seemed expensive - so we used a local coffee shop (Miriam’s) which was excellent. Hotel staff were very friendly and helpful.

The staff were very helpful and nice. Breakfast was excellent. Our sea view room was wonderful but very warm in a heatwave! There was a small fan but the window didn't open far due to safety so we did need our own additional fans. Our only recommendation to the management would be to please sort out the shower. After a day on the beach a good shower with decent pressure and temperature control is essential. Also the shower screen was so small it was impossible to avoid water flooding the bathroom floor. Other than that we would definitely stay again.

Lovely cosy country pub, friendly staff, perfect to chill outside and watch the world go by on a warm sunny day. The roads leading to the pub are very narrow but there are plenty of passing places. The beach is not far and is not too crowded and has a lovely beach cafe/bar. We stayed for 3nts and intended to visit different places for dinner in the evening but didn't see anywhere nearby that tempted us away from this lovely pub. Would definitely stay here again if in the area.
