This is a wonderful place - fabulous location. Unfortunately the digital key never worked for the pool area which was a pain. And any additional K cups were an additional $1 which seemed really petty. But other than that it was great.

First stay with Key West Cottages but it will not be our last. I feel like we found a closely held secret when we booked this stay and my experience only reinforced that thought. Greeted on check in, very kind and welcoming woman. The facility itself is crisp and clean. Well kept and shows strong effort of the staff to keep things nice. Pool was warm and clean. The cottage itself was clean, linens and towels were clean and of high quality. The cottages are quiet. Did not hear other guests when inside our cottage. Took the advice of the person at check in and walked down to the Ropewalk Chinoteague and had a good meal in a pleasant surroundings. It seemed like there were extended families or families who are on vacation together but staying in separate cottages visiting when we were there. I would believe that is a nice option for families who like their own space. All in all a great stay. I would recommend Key West Cottages. Location is perfect for those heading to Assateague Island and beach. The entrance to the park is an easy five minute drive away.

It was our 5 yr Wedding Anniversary, and we had a great trip! Just wish there was a late check out that did not cost extra, many other places we have stayed offered it til noon, and if wanted longer after noon, then there was an additional charge.

This place was beautiful quiet and quaint. If there was a complaint it would be that there was a mouse on the beach (in the sandbox) and there was a dead caterpillar in my bathroom.

Over all complex was great. Friendly staff lobby employee were very helpful and kind. Pool looked nice didn't use it though. Plenty of space in the cottages. Set up was good. Only complaint was the hair on the walls of the shower.. otherwise it was a great stay.
