The curb appeal isn’t great as you pull into the car park but once you walk through the doors, the hotel is pleasant.
Check in was easy and the room was spacious and clean, though again a little bit dated.
The bathroom had a very loud extractor/buzz that continued through the night even with all lights off. It was quietened by keeping the bathroom door closed but still noticeable.
I showered at 6.15am and had warm water, but when my husband got in the shower around 6.30-6.35 there was no hot water in the shower or the sink. Not great!!!
We didn’t eat at the hotel so unable to offer a review of the food and drink.
Check out was also very simple.
We had a beautiful one night stay at this hotel. Check-in was easy. Staff were lovely. Our room was upgraded for free which was amazing. Room was clean. Breakfast buffet was ok.
First impressions upon arriving poor. Untidy externally, slates missing from roofs. Reception not manned. Lift not working. Air conditioning not working. Room itself ok BUT, no hot water in the morning at 5.50am in basin or shower. First time EVER. I have stayed in a hotel with no hot water. Would I stay again; no.
No room ready when we arrived around 7 pm (no second pair of the towels).
Smelly bathroom, very dirty pair of the chairs. Curtains dirty.
If the room would be cleaned properly it would be nice experience.
Very poor hygiene cleaning standards, however coming in across of the UK.
I would not recommend this hotel at all

The property and the car park area do not look good. However the staff are friendly. The food excellent. The bar area relaxed. It’s a good hotel to stay in
Location and access is excellent. The staff, as ever, were superb and attentive to our needs. Bedroom was sparklingly clean and the bed very comfortable. However, room was very hot and air-conditioning not working (showing Error 004) and the stand-alone heater/fan rather flimsy and very noisy. Also the bathroom was looking a bit tired. But our needs were met and we would stay there again if in the area.

The hotel in our minds was very tired particularly the restaurant.
Outside was very poor.
Whilst the staff were most welcoming the property was not.
Not easy to find as confusion with the name Ramada or Regent ?
Very tired hotel much in need of upgrade in the public areas, staff were helpful and friendly.

Initial impression... it didn't change.
The external view of hotel as i drove in was very tatty/untidy - it didn't give a good impression. The car park was unkempt and there were people in cars loitering. The bins were all full.
The room was large and everything looked dated. Unfortunately for us the air conditioning wasn’t working and hasn’t been for months but it was the hottest weekend this year and the room felt like an oven and stayed so the three days we were there. We hardly got a wink of sleep. The bathroom was shabby and had long black hairs on the floor which were still there 3 days later. When the toilet rolls ran out we got a pile of tissues left for us to use. The towels were ragged at the ends. The breakfast was adequate but we didn’t see a member of staff at all this morning, and nothing was topped up. The dining room was shabby and had had a leak at sometime in the ceiling and the wallpaper was peeling off the walls. There was no one on the reception desk when we left so didn’t see a member of staff all morning. We won’t be going back I’m sure.

Room was clean. But far to hot no air con we had a electric fan which just circulated warm air. Could hardly feel it.
Breakfast was adequate. Dining room staff ran off their feet kept running out of things and had to ask the staff x
Chain hotel everything was good except checkout. I had an early start so was checking out at 5.30 there was no one on the front desk called the number told to leave the key on the front desk. I expect a hotel of this size to have someone there not someone sound like I have woken them up.
