Good vibes

The room was very clean and well appointed we had an amazing view and the staff are incredible. We were not all inclusive, but we did have breakfast included, which was amazing; nonpowered watersports were included in the price which was amazing. We did the sailboat excursion to the pitons which although it was reasonably pricey at $550 for two adults and two children included food drink and entry into The mud baths, waterfall, taxis up to the volcano; and the boat staff were incredible, (especially justice )

Went alone to decompress. There was more staff than guests, the food was awesome, the beach is perfect. I did not move at all for 7 days.

Our stay was unfortunately more disappointing than expected. I want to emphasize that the staff were pleasant, professional, and very helpful whenever we brought issues to their attention. They made genuine efforts to assist us, so my concerns are not directed toward the employees themselves, but rather the property's overall cleanliness, maintenance, dining, and organization. The room cleanliness was a major concern. The bedsheets had visible stains, as did the sofa and curtains. I was extremely thankful that I had brought disposable bedsheets, towels, utensils, and other necessities because I was uncomfortable using some of the items provided. The bathroom also had a strong sewer-like odor, especially after taking a shower. This made the bathroom unpleasant to use and appeared to be a maintenance or plumbing issue that should have been addressed. The dining experience was also disappointing. On our first night, the buffet selection was very limited, and some of the tableware was visibly dirty. We also had difficulty making reservations at the specialty restaurants. I was told to book during a specific time, but when I attempted to do so, the restaurant was unavailable. We eventually secured a reservation at the Steakhouse, but still waited over 30 minutes to be seated. Other guests were reportedly waiting over an hour. Overall, the combination of cleanliness issues, the bathroom odor, limited food selection, dirty tableware, and reservation problems negatively affected us.

Other than the location and related beach, the actual resort was terrible. Food was bad. Service maybe tolerable. Access to food was terrible. In room bar barely stocked. Several people in our party didn’t have their rooms cleaned for several days. The elevators broke down several times during the week. The air conditioning was not functioning properly. The room had a strong musty smell.
