I took a recommendation from a friend who enjoyed a family stay here. The room was spacious, the hotel is clean, and the staff are lovely. Having a mini kitchen is really helpful, and there's a shop almost next door. Plus, there was a social happy hour with complimentary drinks and nibbles. It's a good view overlooking the water, but you can hear the traffic from the road on the other side. I could also hear a hairdryer in another room when I was in the corridor. But my usual earplugs meant I slept great. The wifi was a bit challenging for streaming in the evening, but was fine for laptop work in the morning. The car park was full by the evening so it could be an issue if arriving late. Overall, this was great. I'm happy to recommend and would definitely stay again.

Great place to stay

Good clean comfy space with helpful staff. Parking is available but is on a FCFS basis. Book ahead for charging EVs (uses Roam app) as you may be ICEd due to shortage of parking. Only issue I had is checking in time of 16:00 and checkout at 11:00. But “Jack”, the helpful guy at the reception offered to keep our luggage in store - so I was happy.

Great for Cardiff Bay and city.

Loved Staybridge Suites facilities, breakfast and location. Very comfortable just a small point that the ensuite could do with a deeper clean around some of it's ledges, corners and dust traps.

The hotel is located in a quiet residential area on a waterfront. It was between Cardiff Bay (15-20 minute walk) and city centre (15 minute walk). The kitchenette was adequate to prepare/cook a simple meal. The breakfast was good with a range of food, including a cooked breakfast. We thought it was excellent value for money.

Great short stay in Cardiff. Rather more expensive than we usually can afford but the apartment has everything we needed. 25 minute walk to the city centre. Lovely breakfast buffet and friendly staff
