We are on a 2 month trip by car seeing the country. This is the nicest, most comfortable place we’ve stayed in. Also, enjoyable view of water. Can’t say enough how nice are stay here was.

I absolutely loved this place. The view is amazing! Loved the little cottage we stayed in. The office staff was super friendly, had hot apple cider available that was the best I have had. Just a quiet adorable place. If I could have stayed forever I would!

This is a lovely gem on the coast with a quiet water view. Staying here and spending the day at Acadia National Park is totally doable. We appreciated the hot cider and cookies in the evenings. The room was clean. There is some highway noise but the A/C fan covered most of it. The pillows on the king bed were way too overstuffed for my liking but that is a personal preference. Overall, great place and highly recommend.

Colonial Gables is a nice and well-maintained complex of seaside cottages. Ours was one of the smaller ones but it was more than enough for us to have a comfortable and relaxing stay, take a stroll on the beach and enjoy the view from our deck.

I chose Colonial Gables for one overnight because I had business about 30 minutes north from Belfast. I was able to bring my dog and the two of us had a lovely, quiet stay in one of the rooms with a balcony. In spite of Rte 1 traffic, there was absolutely no sound coming through into the room. Everything was updated and super comfortable. Great place to stay - wish I had more time.
