STAY away!! Room had only one light working by sink. Others did not work bathroom light flashed all night. Cockroaches killed 5 in bathroom. No chair like in pic. TV only had 5 working channels A/C leaks water all over hard wood floor. smoke detector was not working. Door molding on outside door just hanging. Sink very slow to drain. Floors dirty, TV screen and glass dirty. Tried to call front desk about only one working light and phone did not work! This place is a total dump!

Staff was great, the building needs repairs!

Roaches everywhere. I definitely do not recommend staying here

The room was clean, the staff was very nice, we were gone before breakfast so I can’t speak for that. The only downside was limited parking. Other than that the stay was great!

We were traveling for 6 days and staying in different hotels trying to maintain low cost for the trip. I 100% have realistic expectations and don’t expect perfection when being budget conscious. Was disappointed with the strong oder in the room (humid and just a strong smell that was off). Plus, a towel was stained and a pillow case had a stain on it. No, didn’t go to the desk, was in for the night and needed to leave early. Used others for our time there without the stains.

Staff watches way too hard. Apparently they dont allow guests anymore or so i was told when i checked out and got put on dnr list because my gf came to the room

Arrived 2130 hours, absolutely NO staff around. After waiting 15 minutes, called the hotel. No answer. Waited 5 more minutes, called and a lady said she'd be there in 5 - 10 minutes. Showed up 20 minutes later. Was told I had not booked lodging, had to pull up email from Motels.com showing booking from January/2026. Today was March/2026. Hotel agent had no room set aside, now began a 1.5 hour repeat of her calling, calling, calling to find someone who would swap my reservation. 2 hours 22 minutes later agent finally agreed to refund my reservation payment. Hotel site, grounds and office were absolutely filthy. 3 different homeless people were lounging in the drive up foyer and by looking at the hotel the rooms were poorly maintained. DO NOT BOOK THIS FACILITY!! I finally went with Motels.com. Immediate reservation at a Microtel. Stay there, please. The San Angelo Lodge might be better off if condemned
