Lovely old Scottish house/hotel set on a private island. Staff were absolutely great and food excellent.

Beautiful hotel, the staff couldn’t have been more helpful and welcoming. The bedroom was very comfortable and quiet and the seating areas around the hotel were relaxing.

Conveniently located to train station

AMAZING experience! We were well taken care of from the second we arrived to the second we departed. Beautiful property and the staff was amazing!

Not sure if it was so expensive due to the commonwealth games or just a Saturday night . It wasn’t worth the money I paid however saying that , it was clean , the staff were really friendly and helpful . It’s on a lovely position in west end with lots of cafes and independent restaurants within walking distance . Takes about 10mins to the hydro in a cab so works out quite cheap and takes about a 20 min walk . Shower needed re grouting , didn’t try the breakfast so cannot comment . Would stay again but for a cheaper rate .

Room was very old and tired. Beds uncomfortable, very old and worn linen. No secondary or double glazing, terrible road noise. Lots of water noise inside from somewhere. No sleep at all. Very very overpriced Ceiling was nice, that's the only good bit
