Good Quality Hotel

The quality of this hotel is of a high standard. I have stayed here before. This time round the only thing that prevented me from giving 5 stars was that there was a party on one of the floors and some of the music bass was audible and affected our sleep. However the quality of the shower alone would make me come back

I’ve stayed at this hotel three times during my work trips to the UK, but my experience has steadily declined with each visit. While I appreciate the friendly and welcoming front desk staff, the housekeeping standards fall well short of expectations. During my most recent four-day stay, I requested fresh bed linens on three separate occasions, but housekeeping failed to accommodate this basic request. The cleaning staff would replace towels and tidy the bathroom, and make the beds, but consistently ignored my requests for clean sheets. This lack of attention to guest requests and basic hygiene standards is unacceptable for any hotel. Despite the pleasant staff at reception, the poor housekeeping service and failure to meet reasonable guest requests means I won’t be returning to this establishment.

Awful Queue management but otherwise good hotel

Come to park Regis often. Normally everythings great top to bottom. This time crazy queues waiting to be checked in. Guy and girl at reception were jumping between queues. Proper amateur hour. Wasted 15/20 mins standing around. A lovely Asian lady with a head band/scarf came out of the office to serve me. She was so professional and genuine. Gave me choice of room, made my poor start so much better. She was top drawer. Wish I got her name. Everything else was decent as it always is.

A little disappointed.

Lobby was located on an upper floor, parking extremely expensive at £26 per night. Room was ok(ish) they could provide slippers as the carpet was a little tacky. No extras in the bath room other than shampoo and conditioner. There seemed to be a smell of oriental Insense stick burning at the bottom entrance every morning.

I stayed at Park Regis on Friday 11th July, a one-night stay booked by my partner as a birthday treat. While there were some positives, unfortunately, the overall experience was disappointing. On the plus side, the hotel was clean and well-presented, and the staff were friendly and welcoming throughout our visit. These aspects were appreciated and helped create a good first impression. However, our stay was let down by the quality of sleep. We were given Room 1101, which is positioned directly beside the lift shaft. After returning late from an event, I was hoping for a restful night, but from around 7:30am, the sound of the lift going up and down became constant and disruptive. I wasn’t able to get back to sleep and started the day feeling tired and frustrated — not ideal on what was supposed to be a relaxing occasion. I shared this feedback with the hotel, and while they responded politely, they incorrectly stated that I had booked a standard room and recommended upgrading to a Deluxe or Executive room next time. In fact, I had booked a Deluxe Room. When I raised this point, they stopped responding, which I found disappointing and unprofessional. A good night’s sleep should be the bare minimum expectation when staying in a hotel. While the service and cleanliness were good, the layout of the room, the lift noise, and the lack of proper follow-up from staff meant that the overall experience didn’t live up to expectations. Sadly, I wouldn’t recommend Park Regis
