Hampton by Hilton better

The Hilton is not quite as nice as the Hampton by Hilton on broad st. The breakfast was very poor. Mainly for Americans with sliced potatoes and not a great choice. Would have thought this would have been better than its cheaper sister.

Noisy building work

My stay was marred by noisy building work in the hotel involving power tools. This disrupted my sleep on what was intended to be a rare chance to rest. I was not informed about this in advance, otherwise I would have stayed elsewhere. I feel conned. On contacting reception, they refused to halt it and simply said that it would be continuing.

Great stay in great location, easy walking distance to city centre, with loads of bars and restaurants on your doorstep! Hotel was great, staff were very polite and helpful and breakfast was fabulous with plenty of choice! Car park discount given with booking and safe secure car park next to hotel. Will definitely stay here again
