Ok hotel for 1 night but nothing special to make you want to stay longer, especially not the staff The hotel is well located and easy to find. Plus there’s lots of parking spaces (may get busy during some periods of the year) The staff on the front desk weren’t very nice or friendly. Worst of all was the guy with glasses who possibly was manager as he was dressed in a suit unlike the others?. A make next to me came back down after check in to say he had booked an adjoining room. The male member of staff immediately snapped at him saying “I know, we’ve told Booking this already and there’s nothing we can do”. Very rude and right in front of everyone else. After he had left he then moaned at the customer as he couldn’t figure out the lifts. There are 4 different lifts and they are very confusing and a couple are hidden. Only one goes down to the carpark for example. Even we found this stupidly confusing and very poorly signed, so it is not the guests fault It was ok staying here for one night but I certainly wouldn’t want to stay longer. The whole hotel is rectangle in shape, very tall and narrow. Everything is done by the lifts. Besides the restaurant area, and the front desk, there is nothing else in the hotel. It’s great to be able to have breakfast on site, but it was sub standard. Everything was very chewy due to being kept warm in the pots and the coffee from the machine was very bad. But the cherry on the top are the staff who don’t make you want to return anyway

Clean room and good breakfast

We stayed in an accessible family room, the bed was very comfortable, the sofa bed wasn’t so comfortable but managed to sleep and even though on a busy street the room was always quiet. The breakfast was good with a good make your own waffle option that I’d not seen before and had for breakfast both day. The only annoying thing about the breakfast area is the number of family that let their kids use their iPad with no headphones and volume on ( maybe head down early to avoid this).

It was very good, my wife thought the bathroom was very clean and she loved the shower, the room was very clean, the reception on arrival also very friendly and explained everything. Breakfast was good and had a variety of choices of things on offer all very good.
