Great tourist location and the staff is knowledgeable and helpful. Only problem is that there is no airconditioning and it was quite hot. Also, be aware there are 2 Garner hotels in the general vicinity. One taxi driver went to the wrong one late at night.

Excellent location

Spotless! The hotel is in an ideal location, close to trains n all transport links. The room was very spacious, excellent quality free toiletries , fluffy white towels! Full size hairdryer too. Would highly recommend

10 minutes walk from the station (anhalter barn), 5 minutes walk to checkpoint Charlie. Breakfast was good, clean and tidy, room was hot, no air con.

Friendly staff and nice hotel. Clean room and bathroom. The beds were incredibly comfortable. The room had blackout curtains and a fan was provided in case it was warm in the evening. The location was great - a few minutes from Checkpoint Charlie and a 20 min walk from the Reichstag and Brandenburg Gate. Would definitely stay here again.

We enjoyed the Garner Hotel. It was conveniently located near a variety of historic sites and restaurants. It was comfortable and offered a courtyard and lobby seating area. Breakfast was also available for an additional charge.

Great little hotel & enjoyed our stay. Staff made it perfect. It is not as close as the other Garner hotel to Checkpoint Charlie but it was close to Topographie of Terror and some excellent restaurants. Downside - double doesn’t mean normal nice double so we upgraded for 20 euros which was well worth it.

With any holiday, you budget for it. So I was very surprised to turn up to hear I have to pay around 400 euros for the hotel stay. To put this into context, I used an active card to pay prior to visiting and my end it shows on Expedia that I’m paid up. However, this was not the case. It would have been courteous of the hotel to have contacted me immediately when they realised this. However they did not mention this at all. And there was communication between myself and the hotel prior to this trip. Disappointing and poor communication!!

In a 4 star hotel there should be more international tv channels. We only had FR24 in English. There should be also shampoo and conditioner for guests.
