I'd rather not be above the bins

Good stuff: breakfast was quite good, room was clean and staff were mostly helpful Not so good: air con didn't really do anything and our room was directly above the bins which was extremely noisy from time to time. There was not much privacy for bathroom facilities.

Great location but the hotel is a bit of a dump. I think they tried to find things to justify the word ‘budget’ in the name such as decorating rooms like a hospital ward and providing pathetic tiny pillows and wafer thin duvets. Brilliant location though if you don’t intend to spend any time whatsoever in your room.

This would have been a higher rating except I felt like I was sleeping on a board. I paid quite a bit for this room so I think padding that felt like it was an inch thick was unfair. It would take a 1 night booking to put in a real mattress. I saw bad reviews on the hard bed but I thought they were picky - they weren’t - it was horrible. I would have canceled the 2nd night if I hadn’t gone through Expedia. I couldn’t even sightsee the next day because my back hurt so bad. People stay for the purpose of sleeping - the most important thing is a mattress - you don’t have to spend a lot money to get a mattress - this was more like padding.

Billigt och bra boende för övernattning

Ibis Budget Anhalter Bahnhof var ett bra hotell för den som vill ha ett lagom okej boende där målet är att sova, men inte mer än så. Inte jättemycket lyx, men ändå bra sängar och renlighet. Det enda jag tyckte var dåligt var frånvaro av ett nattduksbord eller liknande samt att närmaste eluttag vid sängen var lite för långt för borta för att kunna använda mobilen i sängen samtidigt som man laddade den. Mycket bra anpassat för rörelsehindrade och väldigt trevlig och hjälpsam personal! Nära till S-bahn och gångavstånd till Mitte (Brandenburger Tor och Checkpoint Charlie) och Potsdamer Platz.

Good accommodation with great staff. The AC was not working properly for the very hot days but nothing too hard to handle. Cleaning could be improved and the automatic beverages machine does not accept cards, just coins. Overall, the place is good.

Das Zimmer wirkt wie in einem Krankenhaus. Außer dem Bett und einer kleinen Ablage gibt es nichts. Kein Stuhl, kein Tisch, nichtmal ein Bild an der Wand.
