Worst motel I have stayed in.

Kept awake at night by constant sound of feet and bouncing bed springs above. Bathroom in really poor condition. Shower barely worked. Bed mattress appeared broken in middle. Without trying to sound dramatic this is by far the worst motel I have ever stayed in the US. Shameful.

This property needs an overhaul. Locks in doors broken, paint on walls chipped, no comforters in ice cold room. Beat up furniture. An obvious appearance of ownership and management that simply don’t care at all. Sad. At least the TV worked although the remote was so grungy I wish I had hand sanitizer in me. If you book here I’d proactively ask for a significant discount

The room was run down, the carpet is dirty, there was only one hand towel, and no floor bath mat, which I used the one hand towel for. I do not write reviews like this. I think a lot of them are petty, and unfair. I expect more from Days Inn though. I think once a mattress has stains on the bottom, which probably means it was flipped, the time for a new mattress has arrived. It's a hotel.....

Rude

The person we checked in with last night was very rude and not present in assisting us into checking in. We waited for about 5 mins before ringing the bell for assistance. The guy stated "are you checking in? I saw you through the camera" and proceeded in silent to check us in without a welcoming word as well as he picked his nose while touching my ID and credit card. He slapped the room key on the table without giving us directions to the room. He was unwilling to helping us with the bear minimum.

The floor in the room was slippery and unsafe. I assume it was cleanser that was not dilited properly. The heat is not on a thermostat so it was unplugged when we got there and took a while to warm up. It had to be unplugged if it got too hot. Beds were clean and comfortable. Front desk was nice. Echoes and doors slamming all night due to lvp floor down all halls. Not ideal if you need to sleep and go. But at a total of 100 dollars..you get what you pay for.

Bare minimum

We knew it wasn’t going to be luxurious…. Things that could be improved: there were Dirty crusty washcloths left in the tub and holes in the shower curtain. Only two towels for 4 people for 3 days. There were hairs and stains on the sheets. A sink was clogged. The tiniest of garbage can- we improvised our own as there is no housekeeping. The smell was musky. A coffee maker in room OR lobby coffee that wasn’t old and burnt would be so nice. What couldn’t be helped: the college kids partying and being loud, the poor barking dog locked up in a room across the hall. The staff seemed non existent, only showing up when at least 3 parties were wt the dest to check in or out. The location was convenient, so there’s that. It gave us a place to sleep. I def wouldn’t seek this place out again but if you need a place close to the college, it’s there.

Check in staff was very friendly, she gave us a free upgrade. However, when got the bill, we got charged. Tried talking to the manager several times but the manager never called me back and I had to dispute the charge through the credit card.

Breakfast was advertised in the booking, but there was no breakfast available. There was no heat in the room when we arrived and the heater took a long time to provide enough heat to be comfortable in the room. It kept cutting out and a light was on noting it needed to be cleaned.

Absolutely disgusting and unsafe. Blood on the wall going up the staircase, hardwired smoke alarm was sitting on a shelf and the wires exposed, stains and hairs on the sheets, no blankets, no hot water, “complimentary” soaps were open, rats/mice in room, gunshots outside. Service was absolutely horrible. Gentlemen at the counter was absolutely rude and stood there for 20 minutes just saying he couldn’t check us in. Then checking us in took over 20 minutes. We asked for a refund 5 minutes after getting there and the gentleman said sorry we can’t do that. Here’s a clean sheet. And that was it. We booked the room to sleep a little after being at the hospital all day and loosing our great grandma.

Arrived around 7pm to check in, and there was no one at the counter for almost 10 minutes. Called a few times from the lobby itself and no response. Overall given the price, it's still not too bad considering you have decent Uber/Lyft access to Bellingham's city life.

This place is a broken down sht hole, not near the airport like advertised, but 10 minutes south on I-5 at 60mph. The sink doesn't drain so I couldn't shave. The bathtub was so horribly Scale and lining wearing off, I could not shower and ended up uncomfortable all the next day. I WANT A REFUND

I had low expectations at this price point, but I just needed a place to sleep for one night while visiting family and booked this very last-minute. The entire place is incredibly run-down. The room had paint peeling everywhere, blinds were broken, the carpets were gross, and there was an awful smell. Although I had already paid, I ended up checking out immediately to stay elsewhere.
