The shower rooms need a place to hook the clothes up and also, the water is not flowing freely and a pool gets created which is very inconvenient. This was the issue last year and still we see it . The checkout process is strict and needs some relaxation at times ( with some exceptions). Otherwise, this is a good place to stay and i would love to go back if i am visiting the GC again.

Premium Gold Coast location for fraction of the price of other hotels. Not having a front desk was no issue at all - staff were super responsive via chat/message and everything was explained very clearly. They do ask people to leave luggage/unload at the front of property and then drive through to the back to park, but there is a door connecting the car park to inside the main building, so not sure why they do that. Our apartment itself was super spacious - appliances were all branded (SMEG, Bosch, LG - not all cheap brands you would have expected for the price) and plenty of cutlery and kitchenware (K-mart brand). Shower was equipped with rain shower and handheld - water pressure was amazing. Best shower we've had at a hotel in a while. We went in winter, but the numerous ceiling fans around the apartment make it seem like it would be a good choice in summer as well. Only gripe would be that the sofa was quite stained - definitely would do with a deep steam clean. Have already recommended to friends, and will consider returning.

Our room only had air con in lounge and was very noisy. Bedspread had huge burn hole insufficient blankets no pool towels and very basic kitchen

Nice and clean apartment, alot of space , big kitchen/sitting area, and Bedrooms had space to move, would definitely come back to stay.

We have stayed at Artique 3 times in the past 4 years and this was the best stay yet. Check in here is very straightforward, and the building has spacious and secure underground parking. We were on level 10 and the views from this height and above are great day and night. The apartment was 2 bedroom with the main room having an en-suite. The main bathroom also had a bath. The kitchen is getting a bit worn out, but very much usable with everything working properly. The balcony was huge and had all day sun which was great as we had awesome weather. The building has a large outdoor BBQ area, well equipped gym, a huge swimming pool, spa pool and sauna, which are all excellent. Being only a 5 minute walk to the light rail makes it a breeze to get anywhere in Surfers Paradise in minutes. I would recommend spending a bit extra for a 2 bedroom apartment as then you're guaranteed to be at least 8 levels up to enjoy the views of the area. The Northcliffe Surf Club is a short walk away and has awesome breakfasts where you can see humpback whales breaching offshore most days while you eat if you're there in July like we were. We love Artique and will be staying many times in years to come.
