We had a great time at the Pathmaker! The rooms were clean, the staff was friendly, and being in walking distance to so many shops was a definite plus. Would stay again.

The Pathmaker Hotel lacks any soundproofing. Through the paper thin walls, you can hear the next room TV, bathroom activities as well the kids jumping; street noises and doors closing.

Makenzie was very helpful & knowledgeable about things to do in Bar Harbor. She is very professional but very approachable. Daegen was an excellent server. The breakfast was delicious and we loved that it was served to you and not a buffet. Afternoon cookies were also a nice surprise. The lemon blueberry cookies were very good.

This is a wonderful place to stay. Every staff person we encountered was not only nice, but went above and beyond the scope of their role. Check in was seamless. Breakfast options were great. Food was good for a hotel breakfast. Extra touches like cookies in the afternoon, hot tea and coffee available all day were appreciated. The beds were incredibly comfortable and our room was spacious. The room and entire facility was clean.

From the moment we checked in to check out time; the staff were cheerful, helpful and went out of their way to make us feel at home. The hotel was recently remodeled and we loved the new look. Clean and elegant. The breakfasts were out of this world. We recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Bar Harbor.
