The Heywood Hotel is located in close proximity to almost everything. There are so many wonderful restaurants nearby along East Cesar Chavez Street and East 6th Street. We also enjoyed shopping and eating on South Congress. The staff was very helpful to us. It was nice to be able to park and the walk to your room is a very short distance. We also took the Austin City Limits theatre tour which was very enjoyable. We chose the Heywood mainly for its close proximity of the Malin meeting complex.

The Heywood was impeccably decorated. Customer service was perfection. My room was clean, easy to get to, private, and had everything I needed. Plus, they had custom touches… my name on my snack basket, a note from the staff, a tiny chocolates. I can’t wait to return!

We stayed for two nights. The king patio room is spacious and comfortable. The bath tub is a very nice feature with a skylight. If you want a romantic room, this is it. There’s a small but intimate patio for two right outside the door with a privacy gate. The staff was amazing and immediately contacted us prior to our stay to see if we needed anything to make our stay more comfortable. Jayde was an amazing hostess and went above and beyond our expectations.we will definitely return to this beautiful boutique hotel in the near future. I highly recommend it.
