We really enjoyed our stay and liked the convenience it provided to the downtown area. Easy walk to all the downtown accommodations. My only dislike was that we were on the 7th floor underneath the rooftop restaurant and the sound of chairs moving overhead was obnoxious.

Clean, quiet, excellent service. Easy parking or valet both are same price. Took my dog and everyone was very welcome. Walkable to some downtown spots like the grove arcade. Comfortable bed, black out curtains and again quiet.

We recently had the pleasure of staying at the DoubleTree Hilton Downtown Asheville and it was an unforgettable experience. The level of customer service from the entire staff was unparalleled—every person we encountered was friendly, professional, and genuinely committed to our satisfaction. Our accommodations in were perfectly maintained. The attention to cleanliness was outstanding. We especially appreciated the spectacular view and the quiet and comfortable atmosphere. The hotel's location is also fantastic, with The River Arts District, The Grove Arcade, and awesome restaurant and bar options within walking distance; even on site. The entire team here has created a truly special atmosphere, and I can't recommend it highly enough. Thank you for a flawless stay. A very special thanks to Michele for attending to us even before we arrived and for making our anniversary visit one we wish to repeat for many years to come. We were truly blown away.

The staff at the Hilton were exceptionally attentive, accommodating, and displayed a warm, friendly demeanor, which made us feel welcomed from the moment we arrived. However, our stay was significantly marred by the room’s location, directly adjacent to a noisy function room on the top floor. On the first night, we were disturbed by loud sounds of furniture being moved or carts being rolled, which persisted well into the evening. The second night was no better, with the noise continuing until around 11 PM. This level of disruption was far below the standard we’ve come to expect from a Hilton hotel, and it left us deeply disappointed. Additionally, we were surprised and frustrated that no boxed breakfast was offered, despite our early departure the following morning. This small gesture would have gone a long way to improve our experience. On a positive note, the hotel’s other facilities, such as the well-maintained indoor heated pool, were enjoyable and a highlight of our stay. Overall, while the staff and amenities showed promise, the noise and lack of consideration for early departures significantly detracted from our experience.

Very nice property. The staff were extremely friendly and very helpful. Enjoyed the room. The buffet breakfast was good but had limited other dining opportunities. Roof top bar and dining area downstairs had shareable dishes but they did not offer sandwiches or any other dishes you would normally see. Their habit of constantly submitting random changes to my credit card to supposedly cover incidental expenses was irritating since I received a notice each time. Why not increase the original amount or just wait until checkout.

Great location overall. Close enough to walk Downtown or to the RAD. Clean. New rooms. Amazing staff. Very friendly. The roof top bar and restaurant has incredible views. Traffic noise on the side of the building facing the highway is LOUD. The rooms are equipped with white noise machines but it doesn’t make for a great experience. We were on the 4th floor. Maybe it’s better on other floors.
