The rooms were ok, no plug points or USB options. We didnt have a uk plug but none in the reception to borrow. We were given really old type of rooms but I think there are better ones there. View was great from kids upper floor but our river view room ( premium paid) was nothing to write about. Breakfast was fine, again nothing to write about. Location is really good but could have booked elsewhere, lot of places near by. We got parking across the street for free but front desk didnt offer theirs

Clean, good, no staff on location.

The glass on the front door was cracked. There was nobody at reception when we arrived. The bedside lamp didn't work. The curtains were hanging off the rails. The bathroom floor was stained. The toilet didn't flush every time we tried it. The heater was hanging off the wall. One of the pillows was dirty. Will never go back. Do not stay here. £142 wasted. Above a Chinese restaurant. Does not leave a good impression of Scotland.

Friendly staff, clean rooms, great location

Breakfast should have started at 7am, however on all 3 days did not open until 7:15. Resturant manager was rude and asked people to reseat as set areas were allocated to coach party. No signs to explain this. Dinner was nice when you could get into the resturant 6:15 when we agreed 6pm. Understaffed and rooms were really poor. Not what was advertised.

I have tried to contact the hotel twice regarding my stay to no avail. When you reach the apartment first you have to then walk to another hotel to pick up the key. Not the best system in todays age. When I reached, there was a note at reception stating they werent around and to phone them for assistance. I did this no response. In waiting a while I finally managed to get the key and reach the apartment, In walking in the door, I noticed water on the floor. the bedroom was very cold and tried to put the radiator on, but it did not work. I had to sleep on the couch that night as the radiator in the living area was working. There were cobwebs in the corner of the livingroom...dust under the tables and along the skirtings. This has not been cleaned properly!! They provide tea and coffee sachets but there was not 1 cup found to have anything in. I ended up having hot water from 1 wine glass. There were marks on the toilet seat. I paid £260 to stay in this apartment and it was terrible from the beginning and the fact that the owners are not responding to my messages about this says it all. It is also beside a very busy pub and so bear that in mind when booking as I did not sleep well from that so the location isnt good if you like your sleep. This is not the hotels fault, but something to consider. I would not recommend this apartment or hotel. Service and customer care is not good, nor do they seem to care.
