I didnt realise why my back was in so much pain after three nights here it turns out what i thought was a matress was just a matress topper. The staff if the dinning and bar area was great but their menu was very lacking. The attitude of the manager really needs work. At first meeting he assumed i wasnt a guestas soon as he saw me, then in second meeting when i was told to speak with him about getting a paper receipt for the charge of using the lockers(Yes, really ridiculous having to pay for this service) never had a hotel expect this, i was told there are no receipts so now i cant claim this cost back on my expenses so im out of pocket.

This hotel is convenient and easy to access. Easy walk to the metro or the ferry. Near by neighborhoods are in transition and several excellent dining options are close by. But don’t feel like you need to venture out. Hotel restaurant offers fantastic options and our experience with the diverse staff was second to none. Whatever language you speak someone here can help you out. We would be hard pressed to consider a different option on our return.

First of all - all of the staff we met were very friendly & helpful. The kitchen is excellent & the atmosphere is very cool. We love this place and would return any time.

Quirky colorful and whimsical hotel. Relatively residential neighborhood. Shortish walk to Metro... somewhat longer walk to free ferry that takes you to Amsterdam. Not much going on in the neighborhood, but close enough to the fun/excitement.

close walk to public transportation and only one stop from central station. quiet area, grocery stores nearby, clean, spacious and safe. would recommend for solo travellers who don’t want a typical hostel stay, larger and more private rooms for families. note the locker in the bunks are fit for a carry on only but a backpack/duffle can comfortably fit in the bed with you. would recommend to anyone and will be here again!

The place is cute but very small rooms. Also, no thought went into the rooms as far as no hooks or shelves or a place to put anything. After a shower there is literally no place to hang it up. Very strange. I basically lived from my backpack on the floor. Could be better. The food was good downstairs. It seemed like locals were eating there which is a good sign.

What can I say, me and Bunksy (my Bunk teddy) are back in Yorkshire wanting to come back again! From the friendly Dino greeting you to an imaginative use of the building. A wonderful building with friendly and approachable staff. A 15 minute pleasent walk from the ferry, feels very safe despite my flight being delayed and walking to the hotel in the dark. Also 5 mins from closest Metro station. All in all ... When can I come again?

We had a lovely 3 night stay at BUNK hostel. We had dinner there and made use of the bar - the food and service was amazing. The toilets and shower were clean and we had no issues with noise/other guests. The only minor issue we had was finding the bunk a bit too warm and there is no air conditioning/fans. The bed was very comfortable and the staff were so friendly and helpful.
