It had a nice hard bed, which I like. The hotel has had a full make-over, and it shows. Also, the included breakfast was better than most with scrambled eggs.

" Stay on the banks of the St. Lawrence River"
We have stayed at many B&Bs and put our stay at Riverview B&B on top of our list. Ranvir and Inder are seasoned hoteliers and attentive to detail. They were always available and responsive. Their breakfast chef Ken, besides his culinary skills and perfect made-to-order breakfasts, is a native of Gananoque and provided many helpful suggestions on places to visit and dine. The location is perfect - just minutes from the border crossing at 1000 islands bridge. The property overlooks the St. Lawrence River, surrounded by well tended farms and summer homes. The lawn is carefully groomed and so are the exterior and interior. The B&B has 9 rooms in varying price range with distinctive features - some with hot tub and private balcony. There is a roof patio with numerous relaxing chairs and dining tables to enjoy drinks or takeout dinner at sunset with a view of the river. The rooms are very clean and most importantly, the surroundings are so peaceful. We stayed 5 nights in July 2017 and hope to come back again.

"convenient, clean hotel. very helpful staff"
I so appreciated seeing a recycling bin in the room. I have stayed in many hotels and this is the first one to offer a recycling bin. Thank you Holiday Inn! I also was also pleased to have filtered water available in the lobby to refill my water jug.

"Great Place, Water Fornt"
This place was an incredible surprise! We were somehow scouting the area and when we get there we just wonder why we didn’t stayed longer. The hotel itself is beautiful, all details are well taken care off, rooms feels cozy and reasonable spacious not new but very well maintained, the central garden by the river is just amazing; staff is more than friendly and helpful and it is 2 minutes walking from the boat station to visit thousand Island.. Highly recommendable

"Wonderful accomodations."
We stayed at B&B Tekdiv during our visit to Alex Bay. The home is located on a quiet, wooded setting and is very comfortable. Rooms were very clean and spacious filled with beautiful artwork. A delicious breakfast was also included. Stephane, the proprietor, was very accommodating. He gave us information about the area and brochures of local activities that we may have been interested in. All in all it was a very good stay and I would recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

"Great folks, wonderful restaurant"
Basic motel room with nice touches like a wood frame screen door which made for great breezes through the room. The restaurant was a terrific choice for dinner with good selections, perfectly prepared. The staff and owners could not have been more accommodating. We'll most definitely be back when in the 1,000 Islands area.

Alexandria Bay is calling — find the perfect hotel

Everyone wants to score a deal on travel, but price is just one factor to consider when booking an unforgettable hotel. Whether you’re visiting family, attending a conference or taking a well-earned vacation in Alexandria Bay, having an awesome experience should be a no-brainer.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Alexandria Bay hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
