It was a good property however the among i had pay was higher compared to the quality. The staff was really good and prompt in taking actions. The bathroom was big and nice the bathtub had drainage issue. The mattresses were good and new but the carpet in the room was very old and seems dirty. The property was very big, the room was spacious compared to others but it is very old property.

I found a dead mouse underneath a cushion in a chair in our room. We were going to bed & I notice that the zipper of the cushion was facing forward so I went to put it right. When I pull the cushion up, there was a dead mouse underneath. I went to get the manager at 11:00 pm to have him remove the mouse. He came & put the chair outside. Even if he reassured us that there was no mouse in the room, we did not have a good night. This is sad that this incident happened because we had a big room newly remodeled. Breakfast was not great. No hot food available. When we left the next morning, the chair was still outside and it had rain during the night. Our next door neighbor questioned us about the chair & when we explained about the mouse, she had a horrified look. I am very disappointed that nobody has tried to contact us or tried to make it right. That is why I am late in writing this review.

In bad need of TLC, room was clean but the reception area looks like from another age. Breakfast included did the job but very little choice and no fruit other than bananas and apples (than seemed to have been there a while). Appears like part of the property has been renovated or maintained but a very small part that you can see from the road. Pool much smaller than appears on the photos, work being done at the pool patio also. Overall ok for one night but we won't be going back.

Enjoyed our stay

Very comfortable beds. Clean room. New bathroom. Quiet. Breakfast is continental. Would have been nice to have gluten free options on request. A tv guide in room would have been good but not a big deal. Lots of parking. Friendly and professional service. Sid was amazing. We will definitely stay there on our next trip to Gananoque.

I thought itwas old and definitely needs modernizing. The wash area was clean and bright. I had my own comforter so i wrapped up in that..I made sure to have shoes on the whole time. I feel deceived thinking I was going to hotel and it was a motel. I will not go back.
