Outstanding hotel. Can understand how have such high ratings. Great location in heart of everything. Friendly and helpful staff. Immaculate rooms, great shower and comfortable bed but also loads of lovely little touches such as pastries in reception, complimentary mini bar etc. Really added to our stay and couldn’t recommend enough! (Didn’t eat it but restaurant under it solidly queued up and looks amazing for seafood) Clearly has a good name on how popular it is

Beautiful place to stay comfortable very clean and beautiful

Lovely space in a great location. Host was very prompt in responding to all of my questions. We LOVED the breakfast in a box. Only negative feedback would be that they didn’t have wash cloths (facial clothes) so pack some if you are staying here.

We have been visting this hotel for many years as it’s an oasis of tranquillity just outside Lisbon’s centre. We sense though that it’s not run v well as a brand. We have been about 16 times but each time we are asked if it’s our first visit!! Breakfasts are excellent and food generally is good but the restaurant in the evening is usually empty with zero atmosphere and v pricey when compared to many restaurants in the City. Facilities are good especially the gardens and pool. We escaped serious injury when the glass ceiling in a lift collapsed just as we were about to enter it. Probably just bad luck but disconcerting. We shall return but it could be so much better
