I probably won’t stay here again.

We book this resort based on the amenities it included. When we booked it, it said we had room service 24/7. Turned out when we checked in that we had to Pay an extra fee. If this is an all inclusive resort why were they charging us a fee. Pool bars close at 5:30pm. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. The kids pool bar wasn’t open during my stay. Not even sure when they open it but if it’s a family / kid friendly resort it’s pointless. Food was good and drinks were good too. overall I think this resort needs more staff and some more attention to detail.

The pictures and descriptions told a wonderful story. The reality was not as such. Not every restaurant was open every night so choices were limited. If you are a foodie this is not for you. If you like bourbon this is not for you. If you like cigars, the same holds true. No bar stools at any bars to sit and relax at. Little to no nightlife. You had to fetch your own drinks no matter where you were. Broken and unworking amenities like showers, hot tubs and pool features. Tattered with age and years of poor patchwork. Great pool views of the ocean but the glass railing panels are covered with water deposits so it’s just dingy and a constant reminder. It just wasn’t anything we thought it would be. I think my Spanish was better than most of the staff’s English and I took one year of it in High School…that’s on us but just an fyi. The best swim up bar is connected to the kids pool area. The adult pool is small and only seats 4 but has an ocean view. Beach was covered in seaweed. 3 workers raked all day bagging an endless amount of seaweed so the sand was never clean at the water line and my wife was not a fan. We bought into one of the most expensive rooms so that’s where a lot of our frustration resided. Perhaps if we bought an inexpensive package and did more excursions it would have balanced out knowing it wasn’t about the amenities. But it was a special occasion and I was thinking I was pampering my wife and that didn’t happen so I was stressed. But we made the best of it.

We had the best time, this was our first time out of the country and everyone was so kind and helpful even with language barrier. We very much enjoyed the steam session I just wish they did it more than once a week. The food was amazing with so many choices and the seasonal fruit … I tried fruit that I’ve never had before. (So good)! We will definitely be going back.

Staff Rude, asked Edie at sun club lobby for towels and he said to go get them myself at the main lobby, I was soaked from the pool … Also Ángel Bellmen ignore me while I asked him for assistance. Think twice before staying at the resort. Brought up all this to Alejandro at the sun club lobby. Also waited for Mr Peña the general manager to reach out and no luck with that…

The hotel is very outdated. Everything is broken in the rooms: showers, doors, toilets…Problem with hot water. Requires a major remodeling. The see weed was never cleaned from the beach and the smell was unpleasant.

Great beachfront/pools, unfortunately rooms were outdated (especially bathrooms), there were never enough sun chairs either at the pool or beach (all taken by 7am!) and the food was pretty boring. But the staff was nice and entertainment for kids was much appreciated.

The only good thing about this property was the location on the beach. I brought my mom on this holiday because her husband of 51 years just passed away(my father). This vacation was supposed to be a good time to unwind and relaxm but it was a total waste of money and after the first week, we would have preferred to go home. Here is a list of reasons the property was awful: no paper towel/hand dryers in any public bathroom, shower wasn't cleaned once in 2 weeks, bed sheets only changed because we took them off and threw on the floor, multiple leaks in the bathroom ceilings, shower faucets broken-fixed-then broke again immediately after, no bottled water or beer refills in the mini fridges(even after tipping), paid for pool walk out upgrade which put us right outside the night club (loud until 1 pm), when we ran the air conditioning it blew a sewer smell into our room (for 2 weeks we smelled poop), the food on buffets was tasteless, the toaster at buffet didn't work, the drinks were very watered down, no bottled beer - draft only, under the beds was filthy, Sunclub is a complete joke, resort dirty and old in general - plywood covering holes in the walk ways, so rooms had comforters on beds and some didn't, we got bath robes but our firends didn't, very rarely gave us new sets of towels - ususally only 1 new bath towel and no hand towels. I have actually never been so disappointed in a hotel in my life... DO NOT STAY AT THIS RESORT!
