"designer hotel on a budget in rotterdam"
we decided to book this hotel because it's housed in a building by famous dutch architect, rem koolhaas. the location is great, very near metro/tram station. the check-in was breezy and the staff was very helpful and offered an upgrade with a room with fantastic view. the room was spacious and modern. bed is very comfortable. overall we really enjoyed our stay here.

"Everything was great"
I had a small single room, with bathroom. Everything I needed was there, except an iron and ironing board, which came as soon as I requested it. The reception staff were great. The hotel was extremely quiet and convenient. I don't have a single criticism. I asked for more coffee for my room and got plenty.

"Central location, great staff"
Pros: The hotel staff were helpful, welcoming, and made me feel absolutely comfortable as a woman traveling on her own for business. My room, a suite, was comfortable and quiet. The hotel is literally a minute from the central station--which is a comfortable 20 minute train ride from Schiphol Airport. Ask for a pass that allows you to cut through the station without having to pay a train fare if your conference or other time-impacted destination is on the other side of the station. The 12th floor restaurant/bar has a fine view for sunset. Cons: not really cons. 'Peculiarities' might be apt. The 2nd floor restaurant (lovely staff) had decided not to serve its menu items one night. Only two options were offered, neither of which I could eat. The food at both restaurants was not good. Breakfast was ho-hum. The lineup for the make your own coffee machine was ridiculous at one point. Again, the staff were great so this is not about them. I also asked for room service after a long day and was told there was none--there was no booklet or hotel info in my room. There was a Bible but, practically speaking, something more up to date would not have meant having to make numerous calls for answers to questions about services and facilities. There was no mini bar in my suite so no bottled water. But there is a store at the station.

"Nice hotel in central Rotterdam"
Lovely hotel, very conveniently located with nice broad view from spacious and light breakfast room upon central square of the impressively designed Centraal Station or views upon the skyline on the higher floors. Staff very friendly and helpful with our last minute room requirements.

"Convenient & Economical Hotel at Schiphol Airport"
Stayed one night prior to flight to Canada. Had one of the upgraded rooms which was far superior to the "version 1" rooms in that the layout was more efficient and spacious. The room was drop-dead quiet in spite of the fact it was hard-by an international airport. Super clean. Bed was very comfortable. Couldn't overstate how friendly and helpful the staff was. Only complaint was the energy level of the lobby. We've stayed at this hotel twice before and our understanding was that certain sections were meant to be quiet areas. This time the entire lobby from stem-to-stern had piped-in music that was too high energy and irritating to these old eardrums. Would have been nice to sit and read in less disco-like surroundings. Otherwise the Citizen M concept of small, economical rooms that punch way over their weight in terms of comfort is a big winner.

"There letter; W O W"
Besides being centrally located, my stay was so smooth and with no fuss and hassle. You immediately see the sign upon your arrival from Rotterdam Blaak. This hotel is also close to the Markthal Rotterdam and the Cube House, with a view of the Old Harbor. I have nothing bad to say about this hotel and my stay. Surely a business traveler like me, or anyone else can benefit from their stays here. It simply changes my perception of Rotterdam and the charm of this hotel makes me want to visit Rotterdam again and again!

Zoetermeer is calling — find the perfect hotel

Everyone wants to score a deal on travel, but price is just one factor to consider when booking an unforgettable hotel. Whether you’re visiting family, attending a conference or taking a well-earned vacation in Zoetermeer, having an awesome experience should be a no-brainer.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Zoetermeer hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
