Disappointing stay at Livensa. On the positive side, there is plentiful free parking and a bus (33) that takes you right into the city in about 20 minutes that was really handy. There is also a great co-working space to use. Unfortunately for me, on check in, the room I was given had an overwhelming odour of grease and fried foods that was really unpleasant. I asked to change room but they were fully booked and couldn’t accommodate the request and just went in and sprayed chemical air freshener (which made things worse). I asked to move room the next day and that couldn’t be accommodated either so I had no option but to check out early and find something else, My room was also on the ground floor facing a courtyard with zero natural light coming in (you had no idea what the weather was like even with the shutters open!), and the shower door didn’t work properly so water leaked everywhere. The armchair in the room was also covered in grease stains and crud. It is student accommodation during term time and is reasonably priced for the location but I had to cut my stay short and try to find something else.

Absolutely loved staying in this hotel. The staff were extremely friendly and knowledgeable about the area, could not have done enough for you. Rooms were very clean, spacious and modern. Great location as everything is walkable.

The property is right across the street from a beautiful public beach. We had a huge balcony from which we had a partial view of the water and could hear music at night. There are a few good restaurants in the and an ice cream shop are in very close proximity.
