Great location. Close to centre, and fisherman’s coop where we could eat delicious Yamba prawns. A walk to the river and beach. Spotless accommodation. Very comfortable bed and pillows!

Yamba Sun is a comfortable well appointed Motel, whilst I was travelling for work, it would be a great location to explore the town and region for a longer stay. Good looking pool and BBQ area, warm welcome and quick check-in from staff. Will be back for sure!

Poor service

Arrived at the hotel at 4:55pm to have no one available at reception for check in even thought it was supposed to be staffed until 5:30pm. Tried calling the number on the door but as we were using UK numbers the call wouldn't go through, the only reason we were able to get our key was another Australian couple arrived and managed to get through on the number. They were told that we had all been sent a text message with the code for the out of hours box, even though neither us or the Australian couple had received it. They gave the code to the Australian couple who managed to get our keys for us. The room itself was quite tired and we were woken up throughout the night by the fridge turning itself on and off, we went out for dinner to find someone parked in the allocated space for our room which we couldn't do anything about. Wouldn't stay here again.

The bed was very comfortable. Although very clean, the bathroom was extremely small with a very low ceiling. We didn't like that our car parking bay was practically on the footpath. The bowling club was very close with a nice menu.
