We love the 5th floor ocean view above the lobby. It is loud during the performances, but we enjoy watching them from our porch. The staff is amazing and always takes care of any need. We are glad to return year after year.

We stayed at the Adults Only part. The property was so clean and well taken care of. The rooms were huge. The king size bed was massive. There were plenty of dining options with a wide variety of food options. I loved that there was a bus to take you to the other resorts within Barcelo. They worked so hard to clean up the seaweed. There were so many workers and everyone worked hard. When you needed something they promptly brought it to you. They had a wide variety of alcoholic drink options. Con: I wish the fans in the room went faster. Some of the rooms (our room included) were such a far walk to the buffets and dinner places. The elevators were so hot. I would stay again.

Overall all my stay was good. We got the premium package which included room service, except my room phone was not working so we had to walk down to the lobby to order. We were on the fifth floor. I notified them a total of 4 times within my first 3 days and finally after showing up angry to the front desk on day 3 because then the TV and Wi-Fi stopped working as well they finally fixed everything broken in my room. Other than that everything was great! Staff was friendly. Restaurants were delicious! Buffet was ehh could be better. Over all good!

Nos encantó el hotel, muy complacidos con la estancia y atención. Muchas gracias! Especial agradecimiento a los siguientes: -Axel y Uriel de las quesadillas/tacos, los mejores del buffet, que trato tan personalizado y exquisito sazón en las quesadillas -Jasmine de servicio de atención al cliente para las reservas y Diego Luna en recepción. -Juan Velázquez del restaurante francés muy buena atención y explicación del menú, muy cortés -José del restaurante mexicano muy atento - facundo sin embargo aunque nos atendió no nos explicó el menú, sino más bien un trato muy seco y poco flexibl -Isaac jarquin muy atento y educado en el buffet -verónica del pool bar y la piscina muy atenta -Joanna del buffet en las mesas de afuera -en el restaurante japonés, nos encantó tanto que repetimos y la atención de Modesta de la Cruz hizo que la experiencia fuera aún mejor, muchas gracias! Sin embargo, si me gustaría dejarles un par de sugerencias, los tragos necesitan mejorar y considerando es Adults only deberían tener mejor preparación porque era de baja calidad. En el área de la piscina, para las chicas recoger las toallas deberían tener un carrito porque es muy pesado cuando están mojadas. En cuanto al entretenimiento considero que deberían tener un horario extendido en la noche con otro adopción dentro del mismo hotel como una discoteca; sin tener que salir a otro hotel dentro de la cadena. (El área de convención podría ser utilizada en las noches como opción cerrada y aire acondicionado)

Rules about dinning are poor buffet all day and one restaurant per day plus you have to book ahead of time and sometimes they don’t have it available so you have to choose a different one :( Service is poor we ask for ocean view not available and hotel was kind off empty they promise one the next day at 9:00am with xtra cost. Paid xtra cost next day and representative gave us nonsense excuse to wait for a later check in. Wasted our time these was a two night trip so you can image we where trying to enjoy every minute possible. Employees are not that friendly no one says good morning. Drinking options are very poor. All drinks are super sweet. They only one that it was kind of ok was the tamarindo drink. Buffet food was ok alot of food options, Sweets not that good. There transportation service from and to the airport Vacaciones BARCELO is super expensive $4,496.00 Pesos= $247.00 dollars. By the way they were late. Arrival was 12:40pm they show up 1:40pm We were ready at 1:05pm

Everything Was fantastic. Food, amenities, and service. The Entertainment at the lobby at 9:30pm was lacking it felt very old school. I was disappointed for salsa night since it felt like a party at a nursing home lmao. Other than that very happy and will definitely come back and book this resort again.

Beautiful property!! The pool on the music bar side needs more entertainment during the day/weekend. The buffet had wonderful options throughout the day. The spa was very relaxing and love the onsite availability to book excursions rather than being approached at the beach like other resorts. Overall my experience was one to remember! Thank you
