The area is huge with large pools in general in pretty good condition. Some areas needs updates but is a nice hotel The highest point is the staff: friendly, kind, efficient, always ready to help Food is good (.no great) but abundant and with a very Mexican touch The “Premium area” needs more staff; you can wait 25-40 minutes because there are 2 people taking care of 5-6 families checking in or out (lowest point of the Hotel) The etiquette requirement of long pants for restaurants is ridiculous: is a Caribbean place with an average of 27 C degrees !!!! Why in hell you require long trousers in a Caribbean Resort : stupid decision !!!

Second time going back to Cancun and this resort was ok. Check in was horrible, took us 2.5 hours to get to the check in desk. GM in charge Iris Baez didn’t seem to care having guests waiting on line for hours. They gave us an “upgrade” moving us far away from restaurants, same room size and condition like we originally booked. Stuff didn’t seem to care much, drinks will take a while and some don’t even acknowledge you. Overall experience was ok but I will definitely not go back to this resort.

Bring a yeti or any travel cup to get drinks, the plastic cups from the bar are small and service can take a while. Be ready to fight for pool beds, there are signs for non reserving beds with towels or other objects but that’s not enforced people claim them and don’t use them. Nice place buffet is a bit repetitive and if you don’t bring long trousers or pants you won’t get into the restaurants that need bookings

The property is in horrible condition . The pool tiles are literally falling off and you step on them . Our first day there was human feces In the pool . Never mind bandaids and food floating in the pool daily . They had the same food every single day . Our toilet and tv were both broken in our room . The rooms are so outdated and one night had mold on the sheets and had to call to get it changed . They do not have enough staff and almost impossible to get any type of service . I would not recommend this resort to my worst enemy.

Generally all good but the rooms are damp smelling because of humidity, bed sheets, pillows, duvets all they need to solve this humidity issue in the room, some points in the room have sargassum.

Check in and check out process is extremely slow(must wait over 30 minutes). Must stay more than 10 days if yo want to book Hibbachi restaurant. Room's furnitures are old. We've changed our room twice because of some issues with toilet bowl, broken furnitures and etc.

The properties within the amenities don’t converse with each other… went to check in at the palace was upgraded to Iberia with pool room … had to wait for the bus to reach Riverin once reached .. waited for along time then was told to go to the so called vip area .. was informed there I would have to pay for yhe upgrade… else they could only give garden view… would have not wasted all that time of it wasn’t a free upgrade… even after having available rooms they did not give us the pool room… and aaked us to go back to palace as according to them the other employee might be. Confused and relayed the wrong info … customer service was at the lowest… we had to ask for a drink … all the other all inclusive provide welcome drinks at the check in counter… here it was just a fight … didn’t feel welcomed nor wanted even After paying so much for the package.

I loved my stay here. The staff is amazing, kind, and attentive. The grounds are so well kept and clean. The pools are fun and clean. Their spa is AMAZING. I loved the food options in the buffets and in the restaurants. I will say that I wish there was more space for reservations in the Japanese restaurants. Their gym facilities are great. I literally loved it all.
