The Fox Tower at Foxwoods - Mashantucket Hotels
Rating: 4.0 Stars

The Fox Tower at Foxwoods

350 Trolley Line Boulevard, Mashantucket - Map

"Convenient, attractive, but careless on details"
It's very convenient to stay at Fox Tower if you're attending an event in the casino complex. After a great concert, we were less stressed about taking time to choose a restaurant and have dinner, knowing that we didn't have to drive to another location to sleep. The room was spacious, clean, and attractive, with comfortable beds. The view of the woods from the 25th floor room was marvelous, although the streaked windows marred it a bit. Our main complaints had to do with amenities--the bathroom faucet looked beautiful, but turned out to have a crusted buildup around the edges where the water emerges. The flat-screen TV was a generous size but, for 20 minutes, the screen flickered and one helf was darker than the other. I was just about to call the front desk because it was becoming unwatchable, when the picture suddenly got brighter and remained steady, strong, and clear thereafter. If you like very thick pillows, you're in luck--but if you prefer or need a thinner one, that wasn't an option (at least not among the items provided in the room). Also, we didn't find rooms with king beds--only ones with two queen beds, which may make a difference to some couples. Lastly, when asked if you want a receipt at checkout, don't bother requesting one if you have a zero balance--it's useless. There's no financial information at all (about the total cost for your stay nor your zero balance). It has just the hotel address, your name, room number, and dates of your stay.

Stayed two nights in secound week of May. Pros - Check in was great. Pool was nice. Nice location to beach, restaurants(Trio was really nice and right next door) A very nice coffee stop accross the street. And a Dunkin Donuts behind the hotel. Room was clean. Quiet time of year not many guests. Cons - Got back from sight seeing one day and are cards would not work to the room. We went to the front desk and she reactivated the card. No big deal but a small inconvenience. Our room was directly over a bar which had a band playing at night. Very loud in room. I don't recommend staying in this part of the hotel (the wave 2nd floor. I believe are room number was 215 but it may have been 225. After not being able to enjoy myself in the room. I went down to check out the band. They were horrible. Two older man that couldnt sing or play guitar in my opinion, and some younger guys on bongo drums. The bar was packed with a younger crowd. I may have stayed 20 minutes. Luckly the band stopped playing a 11:00PM. The hotel was in repairs. The deck was not open.

My husband & I stayed at The Viking as a birthday celebration. We ate at the hotel Resturant: One Beleview and had a delicious meal. The hotel is very nice. Updated decor. The room was cozy & the bed(ing) was soft & inviting. The bathroom had the bare necessities. We also visited the spa for massages, a facial & pedicure. The spa services were mediocre And seemed pricy. I would visit the hotel again..but probably not the spa.

"Modern, industrial design"
My wife and I stayed at NYLO for two nights on a short sightseeing trip. We chose it because of it original design and easy access to major roads and central location to visit Newport, Providence and several State Parks. Rooms are functional and quiet, but not big. Parking is plentiful, but located across the street (very little traffic). We only had one breakfast there - it was very good, and after checking the menu, dinner should be good too.

Wyoming is calling — find the perfect hotel

Everyone wants to score a deal on travel, but price is just one factor to consider when booking an unforgettable hotel. Whether you’re visiting family, attending a conference or taking a well-earned vacation in Wyoming, having an awesome experience should be a no-brainer.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Wyoming hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
