This property is beautiful. The main lobby is nice with welcoming staff at reception. We went swimming twice in the pool and used the hot tubs. Everything was clean. We stayed in one of the cabins. It was quite nice, I like that it was removed from the main building and in nature. The restaurant is beautiful. We ate breakfast there and enjoyed the food (kids French toast and eggs and bacon/sausage). My only negative is we booked a room with 2 queen beds only to find 2 double beds. Such a small detail and it didn’t ruin our stay at all. I would recommend this place to anyone wanting to stay in the area.

Stayed in one of the cabins. It was clean and set up beautifully. The glass is single pane so you can hear everything outside. Neighbours were quiet when we stayed so it wasn’t an issue. Pool is nice and patio deck is beautiful and great view. We had a fantastic breakfast at the hotel which was gorgeous. Hotel is only driving distance into Wolfville not walking so if that is something important to you then not a great option. Staff were terrific at check in and out.

Check in was a breeze, fresh apple was a nice treat. Grounds are nice and the activities ie Frisbee golf, basketball, pickle ball, were fun; the area with barbeques and fire pits was very nice touch. Enjoyed the pool (love the long open hours). Room was clean and everything worked a-one. we will definitely be back.

The perfect location for a girls weekend!! The Restaurant on property is great, followed by a drink on the patio with the best views of the valley and an evening hot tub before turning in for the night - I couldn’t have asked for a better stay!

A Wonderful Get Away

We had a wonderful time at The Old Orchard Inn. Friendly staff, clean rooms, beautifully appointed. Loved the outdoor decks and we used the pool all 3 days. Our only suggestion would be having a regular staff member on the patio. It was a very long time before we ordered and it took 40 minutes to get our meal. Both of us only ordered a main each. Other than that, everything was fabulous. We will be back!

Beautiful place to stay in the area

This was a 1 night stop on our travels through Nova Scotia and it was a pleasant surprise! They are currently renovating and so far it looks amazing. We had an accessible room that had been renovated and it was beautiful! Purposefully decorated and incredibly clean. The bathroom, which is how I judge a hotel, was immaculate. Keep in mind it was just renovated and it was an accessible bathroom so it was huge but it was well done…1 small thing they forgot was hooks in the bathroom close to the shower for hanging clothes or towel… Now for the property…it doesn’t look like much from the outside when you drive in, but they have a gorgeous huge patio on the other side with lounge chairs & sofas & propane fire pits. It was so relaxing & you can watch the sun set from there. We enjoyed a cocktail before diner & sat out after dinner too. We ate at the hotel dinning room and my husband had an amazing seafood manicotti! And our waitress was incredible…so attentive & friendly. I wish I could remember her name…Morrow?? I would definitely stay & eat here again!
