I could not get a room at the conference venue, but this hotel was actually less expensive and connected through a walkway. Apart from the construction going on and my room being next to the elevator, which was very noisy, it was a very pleasant stay. The breakfast (not included) was superb. Would strongly recommend to ask for a room far from the elevator if you are a light sleeper.

Great location across from the Public Gardens with restaurants and services close by. Not far from the waterfront and other attractions. Good staff who aim to please. Basic room can be on the small side but comfortable and clean.

Modern roadside hotel. Comfortable enough. Check-in is on the middle floor (ground level in the front) but there is no elevator - inconvenient if you have to park in back and get to the 3rd floor with luggage, although the desk clerk offered to help. Walking distance to the Civic Center where some Celtic Colours concerts were held. The town seemed to be mostly strip malls and chains, although we found the Fleur-de-lis Restaurant (in a strip mall across the street), which served a great breakfast and (as the waitress proudly told us) does not have a Fryolator. Real grilled fishcakes and hand-sliced potatoes.
