My wife and I stayed at this hotel from June 27-30th, 2025. We got a King room on the 5th floor (501). The room was very spacious and clean. It was older but very roomy. The bed was good the shower was ok (could have used more pressure). The room did not have a safe which did make us change our plans a bit. A fridge in the roomk would have also helped bit not all rooms have this. A safe for a hotel like this in a downtown area seems pretty important however. There were many weddings at the hotel. I would have been concerned with valuables if I was attending a wedding. Otherwise this hotel was great. The room, staff and area were perfect for our first visit to Winnipeg.

A wonderful hotel. A historical building in a great part of town, right next to the Forks and the Human Rights Museum. Staff was very kind as well. Only complaint is that there was no fridge in the room, but a minor detail!

Fort Garry Hotel transports you back in time and/or to another place (it reminded me of the older hotels in Paris). It is beautiful and well maintained. What charm! Not to mention that the staff went above and beyond to ensure our stay was great! Thanks FGH.
