On our previous stay, the room we had did not have carpet. This time we got carpet. When we asked, we were told they only had a couple on the floor. The AC was super loud, we discovered on the last night that the mattress had slid over against the AC unit, making it loud.

Staff were awesome. I came early in the day. I was going to a Funeral. The Staff rush cleaned my room so I could change and drop off my bags. THANK YOU! I forgot my tablet ,they phoned as I was driving back to Calgary. They kept it safe, and two weeks later I picked it up on my way back.

Excellent stay! The only concern was the noisy bath tub while showering! The shower floor did not seem to be properly installed and with every move while showering, the tub floor creeked and groaned very loudly! It was somewhat annoying.

Tough review for me to write. We appreciated the friendly and courteous staff. Two hotel security guards greeted us when we arrived. The hotel is showing some wear which was amplified by the the number of people lingering around the front entrance and items scattered about from evacuee guests. Our second floor efficiency suite faced Portage Avenue. The traffic noise and overhead machinery noises were constant. We could not sleep due to these noises and the additional banging of doors, talking and disrespect of other hotel guests that went on until past 2:30am. Our room was poorly lit, the tv remote had old food stuck to it and overall was not refreshing.
