First off, I don't like to write negative reviews but this place definitely deserves it. The Pros: Amazingly convenient location - Our trip had us less then 15 minute drives from each of our adventures. Friendly Staff - Professional and accomodating. Apologetic when mistakes were made during check in. Cold AC - Much needed during the hot summer days. The Cons: Rundown - since built in 1988, it looks like the accessibiility entrance on the North side of the building hasn't been upkept. Broken/dangerous railings, Wheelchair ramp unaccessible due to crumbling concrete and a keycard door that is difficult to open from the inside to out. Unsafe - 2 instances back to back nights. Both nights an unruly, slurring and extremely loud person walked into the lobby to yell. Both nights were different people. Dated - lobby and restaurant need a facelift. It's 2025, update the front desk to cover cables and make the overall appearance more presentable. Not worth the price - Stayed for 6 nights and thought I was getting a deal. Small TV, way too soft beds and only power outlets to use were on the desk under the TV. Also bought 2 coffees from Aaltos; $9. Sub par coffee at best. Wife and kids decided to try the food. They came back with leftovers and hungry; not good. All in all, I grew up in the northend of the city. Whenever family visited, they would always stayed here. Unfortunately, I would not recommend staying here until it gets updated.

We were there for 4 nights for Folk Festival.. rm 102. when we arrived the bathroom fan had been left on.. later we found out why.. Without the fan on constantly.. the room stank ++++ like a very bad locker room or smelly socks, dank wet towels left out.. !! . When I complained they said they would spray it. But It needed more than spray.. it needed carpets replaced.. ventilation.. something! Otherwise room was spaceious, linens okay. Staff was courteous.. my husband enjoyed his breakfast.

Avoid it

There was a banging all night long at 4 am I asked front desk they said if your on main floor it’s the commercial washing machine. Then why would you run it all night and ruin customers night?
