This property was close to the concert venue, which is why we were there. It was great to be able to walk to the venue. It also had a great little shopping area down the street. The staff were super nice, the room was clean. Breakfast was your typical hotel breakfast but overall good.

Great location in Downtown Wilmington with nice river views. Staff was friendly and the complimentary breakfast was actually really nice! With that, the floor in our room was very dirty and the beds were not comfortable. The drain in the shower barely worked and there was rust in the tub. We asked for housekeeping to clean our room one of the days and they never came.

The elevator was out of service and staying on the 3rd floor having to climb stairs at my level of medical issues really sucked. The room, while had a great view, definitely needed a revamp with painting, caulking, etc.

Lovely stay. Clean room with everything needed. Comfortable and great view over the Cape Fear river. Breakfast has everything needed. Parking was $15 a night but right in front of the hotel.

The property is in a great location, right on the river walk in downtown Wilmington. But, the property itself is extremely dated, they have no amenities, the internet didn’t work, the phone in my room didn’t work, there’s no airport shuttle. I checked out early, but I will say they were good enough to refund me for the second night. There are two other properties that basically share the same parking lot as the best western, and both are exponentially nicer with prices that are comparable. The little bit of extra money is worth it.

We were somewhat disappointed. The elevator was not functioning, we were charged $15 for parking that we didn't expect, and our bathroom floor was VERY wet when we walked in. The location is good, the view of the river from our room is very nice, and the woman who manages the breakfast room is very friendly.
