We have stayed here several times over the years and this is the first time we have been disappointed with our stay. The rooms were not cleaned very well, we found a chip on the chair, a red stain on the blanket, gum on the sofa and we were disgusted to see mouse poop all over the mattress of the pull out couch. We called the front desk and were put on hold and then were told they didn’t have any other rooms available, we were not ok with that so they put us on hold again and transferred us to someone else who seemed annoyed and then very reluctantly agreed to move us to another room. So at 9 pm we had to pack up our car with our two young children and move to a different building at the other side of the property. The new room was also not cleaned very well, but luckily did not have any mouse poop in it, at least not that we saw. We were not even offered a discount on our stay or even any help with moving so late at night. We will be looking for other options to stay next time we are in the area.

The pool was heated and had a ledge inside to sit and shallow enough for everyone to swim. Very comfortable and beautiful with the big windows all day and all night until 11 PM with access to full shower and locker room with a fire pit outside.

There were a couple of issues withy stay 10/4/26 to 10/5/26. The staff did not answer my text messages sent as they said they were very busy. The room has small insects and flies. It was reported and staff offered to send maintenance to check on the unit. I was moved to another unit 10/5/25 through 10/6/25. I stay at VV every 2 to months and This has only happened one other time.

Unit was spotless. Had a 2 nd floor corner unit. No noise to speak of. Check in was smooth but line to check in was long. Not unbearable. I was making a special request and the desk attendant was most helpful. Anytime I had a question, I texted the office and was responded to within minutes. Great system.

Beautiful property surrounded by the Berkshire mountains. Lovely views of the surrounding area. Be aware there is no late check-out allowed, as I was told it is their policy. I liked the kitchenette and option of the pullout couch although I ended up not needing it. I will definitely be returning to this nice property.

Staff were so welcoming , attentive and friendly to the guests . The employees answered questions and offered information about the facility & surrounding area. There are some daily activities for guests and had water aerobics at the indoor pool one morning. They have an outdoor pool for use when the weather is warmer . I saw a few guests walking their dogs in the AM , as I was sitting outside drinking a cup of hot coffee and admiring the stunning view of the mountains. There is a country store down the road if you need to buy some souvenirs, food or products you left home !

I am not sure this resort was pet friendly or not. I did not see any pets. The pool was fine and clean. Wished that they would have had a Jacuzzi inside the pool area instead of outside. The outside Jacuzzi was nice, however, just not big enough to accommodate guests. I assume this was the only Jacuzzi on the property for the amenities. also, when I got to the property, I was charged $32 for in a amenities fee of which I was shocked because using the pool and Jacuzzi should be included in your room fees.

Beautiful setting BUT bedding was FILTHY! Looked like human feces. Called front desk & it took 90 minutes for clean bedding. We were expected to change linens ourselves. We are 79 & 80 years old & refused to do that. Teenage males “tried” their best to make the bed. By 11:00PM, we were too tired to complain any longer.

Very nice property check-in was easy. I would’ve liked to had more coffee in the room along with the sugar non-dairy creamer and artificial sweetener. I thought it was a good value the pools look to be in good condition although I did not use them.
