Ok stay

The room was clean and the bed comfortable. Outside trash cans needed to be emptied more often. Some breakfast items were quickly gone, such as sausage and pastries. Overall ok but on the expensive side.

Front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. Nearby Casa Mexico was suggested and it was excellent! I washed and dried clothes.The hallways had small overflowing wastebaskets. The old carpet in the room needs replaced. Breakfast was decent. Biscuits and gravy, pancakes, scrambled eggs, cereal and juices. The breakfast area was cramped and busy. It appeared property was full for a Saturday stay.

The location was great. The hotel smelled sweet and funky, like old syrup and cigarettes. I don’t put a lot of faith in a hotel’s free breakfast, but the breakfast here was awful. If I had it to do over, I’d stay elsewhere.

Overall Experience: We had a pleasant stay overall—rooms were clean, staff were friendly and helpful, and the location was convenient with easy access to downtown. However, a few issues kept it from being a truly great visit. Cons: 1. WiFi Issues: The internet was consistently poor throughout our 4-day stay, with download speeds averaging just 1.3 Mbps—even tried it across multiple devices. This made it difficult to stay connected and was surprisingly outdated for a modern hotel. 2. Limited Vegetarian Options: Breakfast was underwhelming, especially for vegetarians. Not only were options limited, but the hotel ran out of pancake batter for three consecutive mornings. It felt like poor planning and left us disappointed. 3. Outdated Laundry Facilities: We used the laundry room, but found the dryer ineffective—basic items like t-shirts and track pants remained damp after two hours of drying. 4. Carpet Condition: While the staff made an effort to keep things tidy, the hotel’s carpeting was clearly aged and stained in many areas. It didn’t feel comfortable walking around without slippers.
