We checked in and went to the room that was in the back of hotel. Upon entering it smelled moldy. Dead bugs on the floor,blood stains on the carpet,the sheets were dirty(looked like they'd just made up the bed from previous occupants) now I'm trying to get a refund from my travel insurance. Nasty place!
We have stayed here every Labor Day weekend for the past 20 years , this year was different. The tub was filthy and the room smelled musty. The breakfast was not even half of what it used to be and the grounds look unkept. Other family and friends actually cancelled their stay and went down to Hampton Inn after walking in the room and turning around and leaving. Please take some time and effort and clean up . Wish I could get money back for the night stay times 2 rooms.
This was the worst place I have ever stayed. Room was dark, dingy and dirty. Smell of urine in bathroom and on carpet. By the time you finish with a shower you are standing in water up to your ankles. There were bugs in the window sill. A grasshopper was on the pillow. Room was located across parking lot near the bar. Was noisy all night and people milling around smoking. Door of room had a gap at the bottom of about an inch so smoke from smokers drifted into room. Had to put a rolled up towel over gap to keep smoke out. Door knob to bathroom was fallen off the door. There was food on the floor by bed. If you care about your health and safety Do Not stay here. Have plenty of pictures of the condition of room. Told desk clerk about it when checking out. She said she would tell manager to call us. It’s been a week and have not heard anything from manager.
It was so horrible we could not stay and checked out immediately after observing room. The smell was horrendous and caused a headache immediately. The bedside lights did not work, there was no Wi-Fi or cell phone service. Very disappointed and need a refund as we could not stay.
DO NOT STAY HERE. This place has a sign saying excuse the mess because they are renovating. The filth and overall cleanliness of the rooms was terrible and were nit atvall related to renovating. Dead bugs. A glob os something (possibly body fluids) was dried above the headboard on the wall. We checked in and checked back out within 15 minutes. Thankfully a full refund wass given by Expedia and we found another very clean hotel in Bridgeport.
Stair railings wobbled, trash and broken equipment on the walkways, we asked for aroom changed twice. We were so tired we decided to stay in the third room. No cups, bed frame was coming apart, smelked like someone smoked in there. Dead roach in the bsthroom, dried bloid on the floor, and only 2 towels.. sheets looked clean and the front desk person was very nice and professional.
Friendly staff, easy check in, good location. Notvthe most updated room amenities, but youve got the basics. Ample parking.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. Though the building was worn down everything worked. The pool was clean and refreshing. The breakfast was aldo good.
This room was DISGUSTING! The bathroom looked like in never been touched to clean the tub floor was brown the towels where wet to touch like the just been used! The AC in room did not work the refrigerator stunk and was warm! The bed omg had stains and ash or crumbs all over the sheets when you pulled the comforter back! The door did not properly lock and the peek whole was covered to not be able to look out the whole! It was odd and sketchy for sure! I wish I would have taken pictures! I checked out with in minutes and now disputing a refund!!!!
