It’s a solid option to stay when in mid-Cape. Breakfast was a little underwhelming the first day (mystery meat sausage and styrofoam eggs, oj from poorly diluted mix) but the bed was comfortable, bedding clean and shower had excellent water pressure. The fire alarm from 3 to 4 am was extremely unfortunate but not their fault. It’s close to the beaches and restaurants and Main Street in Hyannis. A wonderful breakfast place is within walking distance ( Heavenly restaurant). All in all we will stay here again.

This place is nothing like you see in the pictures, not the breakfast or the playground, or the rooms. the fire pits also dont work. I stayed there and when asked for help they acted like they were going to get help and noone came. When i asked to be moved to lower level room they claims there was a water leak but then you see all the workers coming out of the rooms because they live there. The wifi works in the morning but acts up at night. I booked for an entire week and left 3 days earlier and they refused to refund my money. Worst experience ever.

Staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast buffet was hot and plentiful. Area was clean and bright. The hotel room must have just been renovated/painted. The paint smelll was a tad overwhelming. There was a gap under the door so outside light filtered into the room.

This was my second time staying at the sunbird Motel within the past several years. This time I was not happy with how the room smelled when we entered. I realize the smell was coming from the shower curtain, which literally smelled sweaty and moldy. The floors were also somewhat dirty and didn’t look like they have been washed in a long time. I kept my flip-flops on as my children did as well. On two different days I went to the front desk and waited and waited because I needed extra towels and no one was present. On the third day I went back and finally asked somebody who was working in the laundry room next-door to the office, they were quick to help. Overall I would t stay here again. We stayed three nights and they came in once and took dirty towels, but never straightened up or cleaned anything which was surprising to me. Another thing was the Wi-Fi, which didn’t work the first two days, not sure why. I’ve stayed at many hotels in the area so I won’t settle for coming back to the Sunbird.

Let me start with the positives. We enjoyed that they had a playground and 2 pools- indoor and outdoor. Breakfast was good! The basketball court was a big bonus with my sons. Cons-the room smelled awful. It was dirty- dirt on floors, tub stained and dirty. The tub drain wouldn’t shut to use for a bath. The doors got stuck. The pool towels weren’t kept up with. Only 1 fire pit worked. They need to put money into the rooms.

Nice Place to Stay on the Cape

This was a nice place to stay for a fair price. The rooms were clean, they looked newly remodeled. The breakfast was amazing, lots of variety to choose from. The staff were all super nice. I would definitely stay here again if I was in the area.

Breakfast was really good. Outside pool was clean. Staff were very helpfull. Near many beaches with warm water (Seagull & Craigville) ; Lots of great & memorable mini-putt courses around. Many dining options. We used to stay in Eastham but this resort made us discover the south part of Cape Cod who is great.

Location was good to get around the mid-cape but that’s it. Service on the rooms were sparse even after requesting service. Pillows were limited to 4 only! Breakfast lady was guarding the tongs. Food quality C- Front desk D+, housekeeping D-, Ice machine out for 3 days!?!?! One machine for the whole facility. D+ A/C did work. No smart tv options. Prob not returning.
