West Madison Vacation Packages

Hotel is cute and well maintained for a collegiate hotel. Unfortunately, there was a stain of something on the blanket on the bed. In addition, I couldn’t get the water to run clear. Meaning my sink was full of brown water. Took pictures of both and showed the young lady at the front desk early in the morning. She offered me a few points on my Hilton account. Service recovery because I had booked through Expedia was POOR!

Mold was present and actively growing out of the air-conditioning unit which barely functioned. Could not get the room below 70 degrees even with the AC running constantly. Mold in the showers. Elevator indicator lights busted out and hanging around. Pool has like 6 chairs total leaving no space to leave your items.

This was our first visit to the Edgewater, and we loved it! We booked a room with a Terrace and enjoyed that dedicated outdoor space for sipping our morning coffee and some quiet evenings. The spa, whirlpool, gym, and room service amenities were all exactly what you’d expect. If we return to Madison again for a “pamper ourselves” trip, we would definitely return to the Edgewater.
